Giving 2 stars because of an incident involving Uber Eats. I have yet to try the food here so this review is not regarding the food. Once I try the food I will update this review. However, I just had the experience from HE** dealing with Uber Eats and ordering from this restaurant. Unfortunately, I did not google the business hours of this restaurant and did not notice until I arrived for a pick up order that they are closed on Wednesdays. Uber eats for some reason doesn’t have this information in their system so I was able to place an order like normal. When I arrived and noticed it was closed…I immediately contact uber eats customer service to simply cancel the order and refund me. I thought ‘hey no worries. I’ll try again another day when they are open.’ UBER EATS made me take a photo of the store showing it was closed. I thought okay..sure…took a photo showing they were closed today (Wednesday). They then proceeded to tell me…the restaurant confirmed the order so we can cancel but you will not get a refund. I was shocked. I just sent a photo proving the restaurant was closed. Uber eats didn’t care. I spoke to 3 different agents. The first 2 said they can cancel but I won’t get a refund. I asked for a supervisor on both calls…they said they can’t get a supervisor and disconnected the calls. The 3rd agent finally canceled my order WITH a refund. But it took 3 very frustrating phone calls…me waiting outside a closed restaurant to take photos…and going home hungry. I’ve learned my lesson, google a restaurant hours before placing an uber eats order. Because Uber Eats will let you place an order even if the restaurant is closed. Then uber eats wont give you a refund unless you practically loose your sanity. I hate leaving this review but I really feel there is a disconnect between uber eats and the...
Read moreI honestly don't understand what happened here. The reviews looked good so we decided to give this place a shot. We walked in and approached the counter. I asked the lady if we ordered at the counter or do we sit. She pointed to a table and said have a seat. The restaurant was about 90% full but most of the tables were finishing up. The menus looked good but pretty limited regarding variety. There were three different women bussing, serving or standing at the counter. They walked by our table a number of times without saying a word. It was just weird. This place is not big enough to get lost. We sat there for about ten minutes and decided to leave. After we sat down not a single person acknowledged we were there. Headed over to Thai Esan and had a nice dinner. I really wanted to try this place but not worth going back. Just a bad...
Read moreAmazing restaurant! Very clean and cute. The food was 12/10. We had taro/coconut tea and Thai tea. Both were extremely well done. The massaman curry was great. We even took some to go for lunch the next day. The basil wraps were fresh and great. I had pineapple fried rice with shrimp and it was super flavorful. I enjoyed the cashews on top of it. Only thing was that it was super heavy for lunch so I didn’t finish it all. Bummer. The staff (and maybe owner?) were super kind!!! Definitely worth...
