I called to order a pizza. After taking my order the guy on the phone got my card information. My card always sends me a text when something has been charged on it. He then told me that it was going to be a 2 hour wait time. After charging me. I canceled the order and asked how can I get my money back. He lied and said that he hadn’t charged me yet although I had gotten a text letting me know that the card had been charged. I told him that it had taken the money off of my card and the guy just hung up the phone. I called back and someone else answered. I explained to him what had just happened and he said that he would void the transaction. I asked him how will I get my money back and he said that by voiding the transaction my money should go back on my card. I waited a week for that and I never received my refund. I went to this location and the manager claims that he doesn’t even have a history of me ordering the pizza. He said that he could look it up but I wasn’t in the system. I have called corporate and complained and I have left messages for the owner. I just want my money back for an order that I never received. Read moreEverything in my order, from earlier today, was both complete & accurate. However, the driver hand wrote me a lecture on my receipt about how my request to leave my order on the ground, after knocking once, is disrespectful to the customer AND unsanitary (not that it's anybody's business but my front porch is a high leveled block of treated concrete). I work 108 hr.s, each week, therefore I don't want to greet anybody at my front door if i can help it. I often order takeout from numerous vendors & request this same action from each establishment. This particular individual (delivery driver), today, found it 'disrespectful' & 'unsanitary' by the company (Papa John's) to leave the customer's order on the ground/cement IF I DON'T HAVE A CHAIR OR TABLE..... I'm a grown woman & do NOT appreciate being lectured by ANYBODY at a request I made for myself - ESPECIALLY when it's on MY DIME. I'd like to know there will be some kind of action taken here so that OTHER hardworking CUSTOMERS, who may happen to request something similar, would not be greeted with such DISRESPECTFUL CONDESCENSION.

Granted, it's not what I ordered... all I wanted was a stuffed crust chicken alfredo pizza for my wife... I paid over $20 for the pizza before tax, delivery, and tip last night... didn't see the state of the pizza until the driver had already left.... I ordered on the papa johns app and, to my surprise, there was no where that I could find to report a problem with the order.... unbelievable... my wife literally ate this monstrosity with a spoon. I ordered two pizzas, cheese sticks, and 6 wings which cost over $60 before tip... let this be a lesson... I got ripped off... you don't have to.... stay away from this papa johns. Part of the reason my wife only ate the filling was because the dough of the pizza was still gooey and undercooked.... which is probably why it was so easy for all the toppings to go slipping and sliding all over the place.... that, and a delivery driver that obviously doesn't know how to...
