Plaza Del Sol — Restaurant in Chattanooga

My experience was on the Evening of June 19th 2016 on Sunday Father's Day weekend . Me and my wife stopped by we were Craving a dinner plate and a Cold drink to stir up the evening , When we arrived we were greeted as we walked in and was sat at our table , there was chips sitting there from earlier but I didn't say anything we ate them then asked our server for salsa which wasn't free we had to pay for ? Money's not a issue it was the service I asked for a cold drink and was given the wrong beer , salsa was disgusting along with Casadea I ordered. We look around for our server and she's sitting watching tv the whole time I have no way of getting to her she's across the room then places check in front of my plate while I'm Eating . Would never go their again absolutely...

The menu here is fairly standard for a Mexican restaurant yet not as extensive as others, to facilitate a quick in and out. It has a fast food atmosphere, almost like it was a redesigned Hardee’s, and very clean. I had the grilled shrimp soft tacos, which were loaded with plump, nicely grilled shrimp with chopped onions, tomatoes, and green peppers with a hot sauce. I loved the taste, but the sauce quickly made the soft flour tortilla a soggy mess. My daughter and granddaughter split steak fajitas, which came grilled to perfection with a side of beans and rice. Super nice little place with a very local feel and a comfy atmosphere. The food was good, the service was better, and the cleanliness was perfection. My husband had the taco salad and was very happy! I had two Mexican tacos and was pleased. My chicken tacos had cilantro and grilled onion on a flour tortilla . I used their table salsa as the “hot sauce” as it had a little kick to it but next time will have them bring a true hot sauce.
