If you’re anywhere near Chattanooga and you don’t stop at Choo-Choo Barbecue, you’re missing out on what might be the best decision of your day. The moment they open that window to take your order, you’re wrapped in that smoky, slow-cooked aroma that makes you forget every diet you’ve ever been on.

The pulled chicken and pork? Juicy, tender, and packed with flavor so deep it tastes like it’s been kissed by the smoke for hours (because it has).

The staff treats you like family and their customer service is refreshing to finally see hospitality with no excuses. I feel like since Covid, so many restaurant staff, have somehow lost all common courtesy and do not care. But not here! It’s somewhere that you want to go even if the food was just mediocre just bc of the customer service. Edited review my husband reached out on my behalf, I wasn’t in a position to call at the time, after the businesses response (which I have also posted an additional screen shot of) to further discuss. He requested a refund. The manager he spoke with (male) told him he wouldn’t refund the money, but he would remake my food for me. To be completely honest, I’m not interested in eating from here again after this incident nor do I have the time to drive back…. I feel as if a refund would have been sufficient since I had to throw away the food that I purchased today… The manager was upset at the fact that I left a bad review for them, as opposed to calling them about my issue. Overall, just extremely disappointed with the encounter I’ve had with them today.

Extra charge for CC use! HAD great food but terrible now! SALTY & now the meat tastes canned. I don't know what happened but this place is gross now! The quality has gone down steadily over the last year it seems. Gross. I'll drive extra to pay the same at better bbq places on Gunbarrel. This place WAS worth bragging about at one point. This used to be my GO TO place for stellar bbq but now it's just NOT good anymore. Staff is ALWAYS very friendly though so that's worth a star but I can't spend money here anymore if the quality remains this poor. You hooked me with the good quality stuff years ago! People would say "but it's so expensive!" & I'd reply "trust me it's totally (neg-rev) worth it!" but not anymore. What happened to the food here? Why is it suddenly terrible? Come back good food!
