Absolutely gorgeous park, extremely well-manicured with beautiful landscaping, sporadic benches to sit on, and a mix of structures and large open grassy areas. We brought a few balls to kick around with our friends and their kids, and there was still plenty of space between us, other kids playing, people having picnics, etc. They have an indoor carousel (amazing) and an outdoor fountain of animal statues that spout water from their mouths (it was shut off for winter, but all the kids still really enjoyed climbing on them!). The walking bridge was my favorite part with incredible views over the water, trees, and looking out towards the mountains. It was clean and safe for toddlers (and many people were out walking with their pups as well!). It's long enough to get a good jaunt in, so legit exercisers were using it in addition to people just taking a stroll. It warmed my heart to see a "everyone happily getting along" and brought together by this beautiful space. Walking distance to restaurants and such is great as well.

Beautiful park nestled against the river! Great evening location for a after-dinner walk or just chillin. Might be a good place for an early romantic date walk!

We were there in the evening and it was beautiful with the lights on the bridges. There was a concert across the river. The river itself was slowly meandering by. There's something peaceful about sitting on a bench and watching a river flow by. It's like life! You never know what you're going to see floating down the river. You never know what you're going to see floating through your life. (You can deposit a dollar in the box for that philosophical observation...)

This would be a nice way to end the date night. Just have a wonderful dinner, some clumpies ice cream, and then a walk around the park.

And for you old married folks like me still feels romantic to walk around holding hands!

Well kept, lots of paths and sidewalks. Benches to sit on. The fountain area was turned off but I could tell it would be a lot of fun for kids...

HOLY I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! 😍Ok this place is so so beautiful and dreamy!😇 Why Do I love this place so much? 🤔Well the reason is TENNESSEE RIVER! 😍Oh man the River has a Beautiful Current and pretty dreamy clear water. 😆I love the bridges here and the beautiful Park, Merry Go Round it's so beautiful!😉 The cool part about the Merry Go Round is the lore and the animal statues each have a name.🐣 I got to be on the Frog and it was Awesome!🐸 The path that follows the sweet Tennessee River is so dreamy. 😃I love the Water fountain next to the Merry Go Round the statues are fantastic and majestic!! 💖There is a nice kayak launch pier and I just love that spot because I can touch the water and feel the dreamy Silky current.💗 It's a really fast current here which I love! 🌸The only big bummer part is Swimming is not allowed in the beautiful sweet River at Coolidge Park.😓 I wonder why this is...🤔 But Whenever I come here I always get the feeling of happiness...
