Im giving this really cute and super clean little thrift shop 4 stars and the one and only thing that is keeping me from giving them 5 stars is.....I purchased several things the day my husband and I shopped in this little store checking the price on each item carefully. I found a darling little straw bag (that I didn't really need, lol) and saw that it was only 2 dollars so I snatched it up and along with my other purchases headed to be checked out. The lady checking me out ask me could she use the bag to put my other purchases in and I said sure. Unknowing to me there was a 10 price on the inside of the bag along with the 2 dollar price that I had seen on the outside and the lady charged me the 10 price. Not only that but right away cut the 2 dollar tag off saying. "I will just get this off for you'. Hmmmm, I was chatting and didn't even notice until I got home. I don't mind paying that since its a charity but since i didn't really need it I probably wouldn't have gotten it. I just feel like it was very sneaky and dishonest of the sales lady. I live here in Chattanooga but I probably want be going back. I really dislike people who try and pull the wool...
Read moreSuch an awesome place. Great merchandise and great customer service. Only been in there a few times, but everytime is a great experience and my fiance and I always look forward to coming back. Just an example of how awesome the place is...Some weekends ago my fiance and I were shopping in Collective Clothing, and Doug (I think that is his name??? Has purple hair now haha) was working and I was so impressed with how he was going around to each customer and making sure they were doing okay and taking the time to ensure the shopping experience was going good. Eventually he came and chatted with us and we started talking, complimenting us on our glasses. My fiance asked if there were any Patagonia items. There were only a couple and fiance sort of suggested that they get some more Patagonia items. I kid you not, next time we went shopping there...They had Patagonia clothes on display in front window...And a whole rack of Patagonia! My fiance and I love going to Collective Clothing! I cannot stress how wonderful the place is. The atmosphere there is literally one of the most positive in my life...
Read moreCollective Clothing is the best thrift store in Chattanooga, hands down. They always have an awesome eclectic selection of anything you could want from killer Ts, sweet jackets, quality shoes and boots, and super cool hats and accessories like vintage belt buckles, bolo ties etc.
Beyond just clothes they also have a section of new and used vinyl cds & tapes via Inherent Records who keep it stocked with some of the best pieces you need for your collection. The staff is always knowledgeable and super helpful and the owners are absolute angels. I always have a great experience leaving me wanting to come back...
