On 10.15.21, around 5:45pm, myself and two others entered Big Chill and Grill in hopes of a decent dinner. We were quickly seated, and a server, Jennifer took our drink orders. She barraged us with appetizer choices as soon as we were seated, before even giving us time to look at the menu. It felt like we were forced to order an appetizer. With every interaction she was extremely too “intimate” calling us babe and honey multiple times. Once we had a chance to look at the menus, we noticed the drink menu was absolutely covered in mold. We ordered chips and queso as an app, which was fine. For entrees we ordered a burger, fish and chips, and chicken fettuccini. The chicken dish was extremely runny, and the chicken resembled and tasted like canned chicken. The fish and chips was plain and unremarkable. The burger had multiple hairs on the tomato slices, which were NOT touching the burger. When the server was informed, she took the plate back, claiming that she would have the kitchen remake it and the manager would come to our table, without any discussion or asking what I wanted done. About 10 minutes later, the manager came back and said that she looked into the situation and discovered that the hairs were from the “grill brush”. All three of us have multiple years in commercial kitchens. Grill brushes are made of metal, and the bristles are straight. As seen in the picture, is not metal, nor straight. Not once did the manager apologize. She decided to lie about it. Neither of the other two were able to finish their meals after losing their appetites through this ordeal. The manager offered to have it remade even after I explained that I had lost my appetite and trust. She walked away. 8-10 minutes later our server finally came to our table. When I requested the check, she claimed she would send the manager back. We waited even longer, while we could see the manager in another area. Our server came back and I demanded the check, again. She said that it had been taken care of, and that she hopes we don’t leave a bad review. She then followed our group out to the door, begging not to leave a negative review, and asking where we parked. Not a single one of us responded to her. I felt almost threatened by her completely unprofessional behavior, and was nervous for my group’s safety because of how many times she asked where we were parked. Through out her visits to my table, she routinely touched my shoulder, arm and hand. While not sexual, it was extremely uncomfortable. I hope I never run into the server again. The manager failed to deliver decent customer service at virtually every point in this ordeal. None of us will ever be back, and we will be sharing our story everywhere we can.

Me and 5 friends/ co- workers had gone here for our lunch break, as 2 of my frinds had had a prior good experience. My vegetarian single Black bean burger was good & so was my fried okra..My Strawberry Margharita was not good. It didn't have a fruity taste and very little alcohol in it. One friend ordered a salad with blue cheese dressing. They charged her for the dressing! Everyone knows that dressing is included with a salad! Three of my friends had deviled eggs & they all said that they were disgusting. On3 lady had ordered a plate that the menu said would have mashed potatoes with gravy! Yet when she got her plate, there was no gravy! She asked the waiter could he bring her gravy and she showed him the menu that said " Mashed potatoes & gravy). He did bring it, but when she got her ticket, he had charged her for it! 3hat the heck! ? The menu said Mashed potatoes and gravy, so it should have been included. Another friend ordered chicken Alfredo & it had hardly any pasta in it. The Friend who'd been there before and who had taken us there, ordered the fish tacos plate. She took one bite of the fish tacos & said they were horrible. She said they had no seasoning or flavor. She asked the manager why it had no flavor , as she had just ordered it last week? He had a rude attitude and didn't even try to fix the food for her.. She gave the 2 fish tacos to a friend of ours, so she could take them home..The waiter brought our tickets( Each of us was on a separate ticket). They had taken out a tip on us all. Then a few minutes later, the Manager stormed over to our table and rudely shouted at the friend , who had been given the fish tacos. saying she was refusing to pay for them! She never ordered them! Yet the waiter had brought a ticket to her, listing them as part of her order! Even though my food was good, I will never go back to a place that treated my Friends in such a rude manner & charged them for items that were supposed to be included with their order! A place where they added something on to a Friend 's ticket to try to charge her for something that she never even ordered! And it wasn't only us! Four other ladies, whom were sitting g ar a nearby table, also complained about their food being tasteless and they also said that they would not be back! I do not recommend this place!

This was our first time for brunch at the Big Chill and Grill. Maybe it was where we were seated, but it didn't seem like a hang out for awhile kind of place. Don't get me wrong, the staff was very nice and we weren't rushed away all. Ok, the food... first, the drinks. You can't beat the prices if you want a little brunch cheer. The drink pictured is a large Poinsettia (champagne and a splash of cranberry). And obviously, the large is large. The regular is served in a champagne flute, and for less than double the price, you get more than double the drink with the large. Good call for a little Sunday cheer! I got the grilled brie sandwich, with applewood smoked bacon and strawberry jam. All of the ingredients are yummy and go well together, but piled on a sandwich, they unfortunately overpower the brie. It's served with hash browns, which is more a hashbrown casserole. I tasted onion..I mean, only onion. My boyfriend had an omelet, which is build your own, with turkey sausage. That was all quite good. There are several other brunch menu options, so I'm sure we'll go there again!

What happening ! I first want to say "The Big Chill and Grill" have been happening since 1997. Longevity speaks for itself. I am personally familiar with the Restaurant and Grill. I was an officer working in the general area at the time. They came in with all the excitement a new 🚌 business could bring ! Especially, since there was not a lot of this kind of business in the area. They were in a tight place off Market Street. Believe me It was a tight space 😂.The people filled up the place. The client was a lot of college students, and young adults. However it has always been opened to a diverse crowd, including families. Update, it relocated to a bigger location, no longer tight space. The space has given the public and , and employees more space. A lot more the safer ! I like people , but not that close lol 😜 Thanks ! Good for you guys 😜. It is in striving area, with more successful businesses all around. These include nice apartments, and condominiums. This has brought in more of a diverse crowd. This includes a more diverse menu, that includes children , grandchildren, 🙂 and families. Yes they have a menu, that meets everyone needs. The egg 🥚 Benedict is a favorite. Of course chicken, and waffles 😋 are a Southern Favorite. There are country fried steak, and shrimp 🍤 stir fry. These are my favorites. They have several entrees, with Cajun fettuccine being my personal favorite. I recently ate there for lunch delicious 😋. There are more to choose from. To wash this down the bar 🍺 is available with alcohol, and non alcoholic drinks. There are the daiquiri drinks as well. The traditional drinks such as 🍷 and soda are readily available. You can go sit outside on the deck, while you wait for Great 👍 Customer service ☺️. The music 🎵🎶 is available at all times, playing some of the latest songs. The 🌉 nights attracts some live music from locals. They put their talents on display, people do sometimes dance 🩰 the night away. The crowd is a mixture of old school vs new 🆕 school. The good thing is no serious incidents, other than disagreements. Guess what ? These things hardly ever happen here. It's just as Safe as anywhere else ☺️. I love, and appreciate that we all can get along. This is what the Big Chill brings to you, your family, and your friends. Need more space, in the place go chill at "The Big Chill and Grill." Thanks 👍 ! We all could use a 💔 break 😜 from our fast pace lives. I 💕 Chatt...
