Santi’s Mexican Grill And Sports Bar — Restaurant in Chattanooga

I’ve been coming here for several months and have recommended this place to many people, but after last night, I won’t be returning.

We arrived around 8 PM and sat at the bar. After asking for menus and ordering drinks, the first round finally came, it only went downhill from there. We had to repeatedly ask for a drink and chips. Eventually, the chips came out, and so did my boyfriend’s food. I let the bartender know that I hadn’t received my meal yet and that we were still waiting on drinks. She came back about five minutes later with one drink. I reminded her that I was still missing my food. She simply said “OK,” which I assumed meant she would check on it. But when she returned again, there was still no update and no food.

Meanwhile, I watched every other person at the bar around us receive their drinks and food with no issues. It was clear we were being overlooked on purpose, and it felt incredibly disrespectful.

By this point, my boyfriend was nearly finished eating, and I was understandably frustrated. I asked her to have my food packaged to go. She agreed, and we also requested one more drink while waiting along with the check. Once again, she said “OK,” and went to help other guests at the bar. When she finally brought the check—there were no drinks and still no food. I reminded her again, and she seemed annoyed, telling me she’d "just take it off the bill". I said that was fine and told my boyfriend I was ready to leave. He paid the check—and still tipped her, which I absolutely would not have, given how rude she was the entire time. He then asked to speak to the manager. The “manager” (and I use that term very loosely) showed zero concern that I never received my food and that the bartender was so rude, in fact, he acted like we were out of line for even bringing it up. He offered no apology, no explanation, and no resolution.

This was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve ever had. I’ll be making sure to tell everyone I know about this visit and how poorly we were treated and why we were...

Today November 10 2024 me and my family was for first time in this restaurant food was good, unfortunately the service was very, very bad. They need improve the customer service. We ask for four margaritas, those was very good, But when we ask for the second round, we has waiting for over 20 minutes. The owner was advised after ten minutes, but he ignored us and he continued talking with his friends, so after 25 minutes the server brings our drinks so we canceled and explain the situation, also we recommend to improve the service. Unfortunately they don't care about it. Because the owners just ignore the situation. We never will back to that place. And we recommend "El Meson" Mexican Restaurant they care about service and customer satisfaction, they buffet is 100% Mexican and a lot of choices much better en food and SERVICE also they have more variety of food. THEY BUFFET IS FROM 11:00 AM TO 03:PM. you will see the difference. DON'T GO TO SANTI'S. VERY BAD SERVICES.

Bad very...

This place is delicious and the food is great… but if you’re ordering door dash, they will not send your cheese dip so dont bother ordering it. I used to order from this place 3-4 times a week, I now order it once in a blue moon because 4 out of 5 times they will either not send you the cheese dip you paid $8 for, or they will pour it in a tiny salsa cup, not regular size cup, but the super tiny cups… for $8… their prices are good… but we care about the full experience… for us, cheese dip and salsa are super important and they NEVER seem to pay attention to their orders anymore… this place has gone downhill… it’s not one time, it’s almost every single time we order… I’d be willing to bet lots of people have this problem with them. Their prices have gone way down on door dash, probably to incentivize people to order… but all you have to do is give people what they ordered on a consistent basis… Who cares if the price of the dish went from $14 to 1050… If it doesn’t come, then it’s still a...
