READ ENTIRE POST The only reason I’m leaving a Google review is no one bothered to respond to me after I sent the complaint in to their website. This was January 3rd 2025. I called in a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich with extra bacon and the bacon being extra extra crispy. It was picked up around 7:15 AM or so. There was only 3 pieces of bacon, and the bacon not cooked crispy at all. I really wouldn't even be sending this complaint if this was the first time. I call an order in every Friday morning at the same time and the bacon is never crispy. A couple of other times I haven't received the extra bacon, but I haven't ever called to complain. I did this time. The gentleman I spoke with immediately cut me off and said he watched her put 5 pieces of bacon on. I then told him I only saw 3 pieces and again he just blew me off. I'm there every single Friday, I have no reason to call and make it up. I'm not sure if he is the manager, if he is not then I understand brushing me off, well kind of. If he is the manager, then he needs to learn not to cut people off and listen to the complaint. I'm in management and as they say, the customer is always right. I DO NOT AGREE with that statement at all but sometimes you must at least acknowledge the complaint. As hard as that can be. HaHa! I also go to the Fort O location every Sunday and order the exact same thing. I've never had any kind of issue with them. Always the correct amount of bacon and always cooked to order. I’ve been going there about a year. Great Staff!! I’ve been going to the Hamilton Place location for about 5 months now and all is good most of the time. Thanks for listening to my rant. I’m not writing this to receive a refund or comped food, I just want to make someone aware of...
Read moreWhile staying at the Hamilton over the weekend, I went down to the Mean Mug Sunday morning to grab breakfast. Was pleasantly surprised a)They open at 8 on Sunday & b) they had a menu with plenty of options. I got a mahogany latte which I sipped on while they prepared the food. When I got back up to the room I let my BF know I was moving there. He asked if I meant Chattanooga and I told him no, into the Mean Mug. That was they best Latte I ever had, everyone there was super pleasant, the atmosphere was great and there was more on the menu I wanted to order. Only sane thing was to move in. I then ate the peanut butter toast I ordered. This was no mere peanut butter toast. This was breakfast perfection of thick sliced, perfectly toasted wheat bread, slathered with just the right amounts of peanut butter & honey, piled with delicious blueberries, strawberries, & banana. This was so good it made me mad at (& a little sad) at my peanut butter toast at home the next day. BF had a bacon & egg biscuit which he loved. Also had gotten a slice of marble cake but were too full to eat. Had it 4 hours later in the car and it was still delicious. Would you consider opening 1 in Tallahassee? I will keep you in business. Sincerely, your...
Read moreI keep trying to give this place a chance and it’s terrible every time! Today, we ordered a quiche and coffee, horchata, and burrito via door dash. The quiche was a joke. You could see that the egg whites and yolk weren’t mixed well, it wasn’t fully cooked through, the crust was soggy, and it came broken. Wtf? The drinks were completely cold. The burrito was okay but the eggs weren’t fresh nor the potatoes.
Other times I’ve been, it’s been disappointing too. Like their pastries. They’re over priced and not good. I tried their donut once and it was so cakey and hard. I seriously don’t understand.
The coffee tasted bitter and burnt. Their cappuccinos are joke. Seems like no one in Chattanooga understands how to make a proper cappuccino. Why are you offering several sizes for a cappuccino which defeats the purpose of a cappuccino? You just end up with a latte.
I have physically gone to this location and witnessed them trying to operate with one cashier having to take orders, make drinks, etc. Hire more people and boost...
