I was in Chattanooga and wanted a good burger. I found Scottie B's online & chose to give it a shot. It is a cool little place with counter service, friendly staff, clean & parking out front. So far so good. They offer an option on their menu for a "Beast" burger. It is a fascinating combination of Venison, Elk, Wild Boar & Bison. I'm a fan of game meat, so I opted for the "Beast"! They even have spicy mustard, which is a huge extra when enjoying burgers. The burger was $10.25 + $4 for the "Beast", fries were $3 extra, beer was $4.50, so the meal was almost $24. But, it sounded great, so I was excited. When it arrived, it all looked great. Fries were perfectly cooked, delicious, hot & fresh. However, the "Beast was a big disappointment. The meat had been "overworked". Any time you overwork ground meat, it gets tough & rubbery. (We have all done that to our meatballs or meatloaf when learning to cook) Yet, for $24, I was not expecting it here. The concept is fantastic, but the "Beast" wasn't. It was a huge let down. I hope these guys figure out how to get this corrected, as game meat is tough to find around here. In the meantime, I would not...

The big star of the show is the food! I devoured the fried chicken sandwich, and it was great – perfectly crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor.
And the fried julienne okra was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of crunch. I tried my friends’ fries and they were great too.
Beyond the great food, the service was top-notch. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and made the dining experience a pleasure.
It's clear that the team at Scottie B's takes pride in both their food and their hospitality.

Read moreStepping into Scottie B’s was like taking a walk down memory lane. This spot used to be an Armando’s, and I remember coming here with my father over 30 years ago. It was one of our favorite places, and I’m so glad to see it brought back to life in such a great way.
The restaurant is clean and welcoming, the service was friendly and fast, and the menu has plenty to choose from. I ordered the Armando’s burger with bacon and cheese—and wow, it was like being transported back in time. One of the best burgers I’ve had in Chattanooga, hands down. My wife had the chicken salad and said it was excellent as well.
Love that they’re revitalizing an old local favorite with such care. We’ll...
