We came here for my son’s birthday, and unfortunately, it ended up being a big disappointment. From the start, the place felt a little off. The bathroom was clearly overdue for a cleaning, ( hair on the seats, unflushed toilets, tp, the basics but a bathroom says a lot about the work ethic and cleanliness of upper management/owners) and seeing a sign that said “last cleaned at 11:30 a.m.” Dylan- I believe, didn’t exactly inspire confidence. I’ve worked in restaurants—I get it—but this just didn’t feel clean. We ordered, and i didn’t realize all the meat was coated in sesame oil and seasonings, so i asked if i could get it without the seasonings and then the manager came over and explained that’s just how they do it, which is fine—I respect different cultures—but the way it was handled felt dismissive. It didn’t feel like a conversation; more like being shut down. -Huge ALLERGY ALERT🚩🚩🚩 Then our hot plate didn’t work. We sat there for over 30 minutes with raw meat that wasn’t cooking. Our server was doing her best—she really was great—but eventually had to call the manager over. He removed the hot plate, and as he did, rusty water spilled all over our table and food. It was hard to miss. And to make matters worse, while he was fixing it, he leaned across the table with his arm practically in our food. Not a great look. They moved us to another table, and this one had burners running so hot that everything just burned. Nothing was edible. My son enjoyed the soup part and got to play around with making ramen, which was probably the only highlight. I tried to make the best of it with the crab legs, but even those were overcooked and had that weird texture like they’d been frozen and thawed a few times. There was also a hair in the crab rangoon in the buffet which was ultimately what killed my mood. I pointed it out, and the guy just picked it out and placed it on a plate, picking the hair off…at the buffet line! At that point, I didn’t even bother pushing it further. Again, our server was sweet and really tried. But when I talked to the manager about everything, he just didn’t care. No apology, no attempt to make it right. We didn’t eat 90% of what we were served, and still walked out paying $122 for what amounted to some crab legs and a pot of ramen. I’m not one to write negative reviews lightly, but this was bad. The food wasn’t good, the cleanliness was questionable, and the way the issues were handled just made it worse. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. It’s not worth the money, the frustration, or the risk. If you’re looking to celebrate something special or just enjoy a decent meal, I’d look elsewhere. Side note: If you go somewhere serving shellfish like mussels, clams, or oysters—and they’re already opened before you cook them—don’t eat them. Shellfish should open naturally during cooking. If they’re open beforehand, that’s a red flag. It usually means the animal died before it was cooked, which can carry dangerous bacteria and toxins. Eating them can literally make you sick—or worse. I saw several trays of wide-open shellfish at this place, and it was honestly shocking. That alone should be enough reason to stay far away.

We've visited this spot three times since it changed hands and are impressed. It now offers both KBBQ and Hotpot. The food service is notably quick. The menu isn't overwhelming, which is a big plus—many other places offer too many options that end up being inedible. I particularly enjoyed the hotpot, though I'd suggest they marinate the soup bases for more flavor. The KBBQ is good, but the marinades are a touch too sweet. The pork belly is sliced too thinly, cooking more like bacon than traditional pork belly. I also found the crawfish on the dinner/weekend bar to be overcooked, so that's an area for improvement. Overall, this is less a complaint and more a set of suggestions to elevate an already good dining experience. Presentation, cleanliness, and staff attitudes are all excellent. I truly hope this restaurant succeeds!

Oh, my... We might have found a new favorite for birthday gatherings. The food selection is very much wonderful, plus sushi and I'll be damned is they didn't have crawdads with some good flavor to them. Anyone who has cooked crawdads knows how hard it us to get the flavor into the meat. Even our youngest, who tends to live on chicken nuggies and mac n cheese enjoyed himself and ate his fill of steak and noodles in his hot pot Update... we met up with one of my editors for dinner Sunday Nov 2nd. Just as good as before, and even better, the waitress Yunlin remembered us and even remembered what drinks the word witch and myself had. Amazing service at this place.

✨since I can not respond to the owners response to my review, I logged into my back up-v.mundt✨

I’ll assume this is the young manager? The bill was $122. I handed you $120 and the server $40. You can figure that out. You accommodated what exactly? There was 4 other birthdays and a screaming toddler because you and your staff failed to educate the new guests? I would assume.

Also, was that a threat? Sir, by all means, post your footage lol I’ll point everything out! I’ll even break it down, transcript it and turn into a pdf! Don’t you dare try to paint me to be a liar😂

Let’s get some FACTS straight.

The toilets had old urine caked on them, half of them weren’t flushed and the sink was covered in soap(probably the cleanest part of the entire place). There was toilet paper bits all over the floor and if you’re going to advertise your dumb bathroom check list, you should probably enforce it. Also, that’s a trashy look. Keep that hanging the back, you know, where YOU can have eyes on who actually is doing it and not JUST Dylan at 1130 AM. The hair in the crab Rangoon’s. One of the 4/5 kitchen guys lined up in the back wall(leg propped, arms crossed ones) came over, picked it up and placed it on a plate, picked the hair off and may have kept it on the plate? Not 100%sure on that one but that’s not how that works. The ENTIRE pan should’ve been pulled and “replaced”. Gross. The only thing I can say you accommodated us with is when we initially arrived, I asked to be moved to a small smaller table to keep my children from playing in the second pit. The table our server put us at didn’t work for the first 30+ minutes which she acknowledged as did you When you pulled the metal rack off of the table, dripping Rusty water across my crab while your armpit was in my husband’s face.

Table manners, educate yourself on them.

And if I’m not mistaken, weren’t you associated or could I say, the owners of the previous restaurant in that same exact location that had so many health code violations, you shut down? Could be wrong! I’ll double check myself and pull up business licenses and all that to be sure.

And last but least, your robot is weird and your $6 or $7 SINGLE Mochi is always BOGO at Publix.

Also, if you post the video clips, please show the part where you(?), the owner(again I’m assuming that young, jerk of a kid) waited on a particular table hand over foot while everything on the table you re sat us at, burned everything we tried to cook. You’ll see the birthday boy reach down several times...

This was hands-down the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. The place was completely empty when I walked in — not a single customer. That should’ve told me everything I needed to know.

The manager, some guy who clearly doesn’t care about anything, was rude from the second I stepped in. No greeting, no help, just a miserable attitude like I was bothering him by existing. Totally checked out and clearly not fit to run a restaurant.

I ordered sushi, which was a huge mistake. The fish was warm, smelled sketchy, and the rice was hard like it had been sitting in a fridge since last week. It tasted off, and sure enough, I felt sick to my stomach shortly after eating it. Honestly surprised they haven’t had a health inspector come through and shut it down.

And don’t even think about using the bathroom. It was disgusting — trash overflowing, toilet stained, sink covered in grime, and it reeked. What really got me was the so-called “cleaning log” on the wall. It said “Dylan – 11:30” scribbled in sloppy handwriting… but it was clearly 5 p.m. and that bathroom hadn’t been touched in hours, maybe all day.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is unsanitary, badly managed, and should be avoided...
