I walked in ahead of anyone in the drive through or anyone in the line inside. I was alone. The young lady who was apparently running the register got up from whatever it was she was sitting for when i walked in. I was deciding what i wanted when a group of five walked in immediately after me, i made the decision to let them go ahead as i was still deciding. 10 seconds later, what i assumed was the manager came out from around the corner and announced they were short handed. I stepped back in line in front of another single, another group of five, and another single. I ordered after the five top i let go in front of me and before the single, other five top and the other single. The head of the five top ahead of me came up to check on his order and i remarked that we will probably be here for a while. He agreed. After about 5 minutes, the young lady running the register starting plating the five top order. The head of the five top order had to return twice because of missing food. The young lady then started plating the third singles food. She presented his food. Then she started plating the second five top order. I walked to the counter, now 20 minutes after i ordered and exclaimed I'm trying to be patient and polite, but you have now served 2 people after me. She asked if i was carl, who i assume was the first single after me, and i said no, and gave her my name. She looked at the screen, and said where did it go. Then she turned to someone else with a blank stare on her face and asked if the food she started plating for the second five top was in fact mine. Someone said yes and she put the food in my bag, with no napkins nor any effort of an apology, or any acknowledgement of what was happening. I got home, and my food was cold. Very horrible experience with little hope of reconciliation. I will not return and tell others of my experience. I live less than a mile away and frequent this franchise. Being short handed is not my concern, but i do sympathise. Please fix the problem...
Read moreWalk told to wait multiple times and left waiting at the menu board for about 15 minutes and during that 15 minutes I counted 9 different cars behind me getting fed up and driving off. Finally was able to place my order and it took about 15 more minutes to get my food at the second drive thru window. I should've drove off but I figured they were just understaffed of something and I really didn't have to be anywhere so I stayed and ended up regretting it. My order consisted of a 4 for $4 combo and 2 small frostys. After spending a total of 30 minutes in the drive thru, I get my food and drive home which is only about 3 minutes away and when I get there I discover that all of my food is literally cold. Not just lukewarm, it was actually cold which was kinda funny since both of my frostys were completely melted and barely even cold. Like I said, I live very close and had my air running full blast so I know with 100% certainty that they had to have been melted before they were even handed over to me. The drink was supposed to have been sweet tea but it was unsweet and all the ice had melted so it was basically lukewarm water. The guy who handed me my order lied about my sauces and receipt being in the bag when I specifically asked him if they were and he said yes. I didn't bother calling to complain since I didn't have the receipt anyway but I accept responsibility for that, I should've checked that I had it before leaving. The food was for my kid but we ended up throwing it all away and getting something else. I was patient and tried to be understanding and in return I got ripped off which I really don't appreciate. We probably won't be back for a while. At least until they get some management that actually knows how to run a fast food restaurant. If that ever happens, I'll be glad to come back and...
Read moreMan, I go to Wendys all of the time, and never expected such a bad meal. When we came in, there were a few employees on their phones at the counter. We walked to the register, and the girl just stood there waiting for us to begin the transaction. We got 2 meals for like $20 (mine $8 dbl). They gave us our cups, although the drink machine was out of all nondiet sodas. We cleaned a table, and sat down. After a while, we went back to counter to ask for sodas to notice the fries and nuggets were just sitting out on the counter. We wait 5 more minutes or so, and finally took our fries to eat as they were now getting cold. They seem agitated that we asked for sodas and took our food from the counter. Several minutes later, she calls me to the counter for the burgers. I must say that with the current attitude, I didn't expect too much. However after waiting 15 mins for the double, it was terrible. The meat overcooked and dry, the bread was hard, and the cheese was hard and dry. Reluctantly, I returned the burger. She argued with me that it was "fresh," but after another 10 mins or so, I received a replacement burger. The meat wasn't good, but not as dry and inedible and the bread was now soft. I ate what I could of it as we had been there for 30 minutes, eating our food in increments. In short, it didn't appear as though anyone wanted to be there today. Noone acknowledged us upon entry, no team member even cracked a smile. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, I was met with attitude. The dining room was ignored, meanwhile the employees were on their phones. I would have fired the entire bunch, and closed the restaurant. To me, that would be better than losing a regular. I will now avoid one of my favorite...
