70% of the time my order is wrong at this Wendy's
Tonight I went to this Wendy's and ordered: A sour cream and chives baked potato A medium fries A Jr. Cheeseburger without the meat
I was served: A sour cream and chives baked potato with no sour cream (which I realized after I got home) A large fries that were overcooked and some burned (after waiting 10+ minutes sitting at the window for them) A Jr. Cheeseburger WITH the meat
Look, every restaurant gets things wrong sometimes. Especially if there's a specialty order. But literally, of the 10 or so times I've come to this Wendy's, and ordered different things, my order has been wrong about 7 of those times. They will forget the fries you ordered, leave out other things, give the wrong things...
For example, tonight the person taking my drive-through order could not figure out how to put in the computer for the cheeseburger to have no meat (training issue?). So she assured me she'd tell the chef personally! But the time I waited, got to the window and waited 10 more minutes for fries, the girl there (not sure if it was same one) handed me a bag and asked me what I ordered (seeming a bit scattered, and even though she'd just printed my receipt which had what I ordered...), and when I told her I'd ordered a cheeseburger without meat (handing her back the wrong one), she seemed so confused and it took three tries to get her to understand I didn't want meat on it! Then she left, and instead of coming back with the corrected item, after waiting, a manager came to ask what the problem was. Seriously. Then the manager told me I needed to order it as a "veggie burger" instead next time (fine, but really? Y'all can't figure this out?). She offered to go make the item herself (because apparently her staff can't...?), but after so long (20 minutes now), I just asked for a refund and to go home. She attempted a refund but said her computer was freezing. I just went home. No refund, no burger, hungry, tired.
Look, it takes a lot for me to write these things. But something needs to change at this Wendy's. If this was an isolated experienced, fine. But literally, 70% of the time there is some issue. PLEASE, someone find the issue here and fix the training, the people, the system, something... ...
Read moreUsually this Wendy's is fairly friendly but the experience we had, was probably the worst experience I've ever had at any fast food restaurant. We had placed a mobile order and when we first got to the ordering box, we were completely ignored for about 10 minutes. I understand you might not be able to talk to us, but you should at least inform us of the fact. Once the girl talked to us, we told her the name of our mobile order and also politely asked if we could get our drinks with no ice since we had forgotten. We were completely ignored and drove up to the window. Once we got to the window, the girl kept the window closed and completely ignored us. I don't expect to be entertained the whole time, but it would be nice to at least have a short friendly talk. After about 5-10 minutes, the girl handed us our drinks, that had ice. My companion politely asked if we could get the drinks with no ice. But the girl said it was not on the order, we said that we asked at the speaker, but the girl ignored us and closed the window. After this we probably waited 20 minutes for the girl to hand us our food, and then immediately close the window.
Now, I understand that people have bad days, but the service we got was honestly pretty unacceptable. If you're so angry that you can't even smile or make someone a drink with no ice, maybe you shouldn't be working with customers right then. Or maybe it would have been better if you called out. Because like I said, that was the worst fast food experience I've ever had, Wendy's best...
Read moreThere are a lot of negative things I wish to say such as how slow and forgetful they are, but I'm going to leave it as this one experience- after waiting at the speaker for the drive through for about 3 mintues, i said "hello" and waited another few mintues. I almost drove off because i was oretty hungry and there a few options nearby. I finally put in my order and waited wayyyy too long. While at the window waiting i could clearly see a woman on her phone with her cloves on, eating chicken nuggets with sauce in her shirt and face. Pretty gross but i was more frustrated that it was as if they didnt even notice me at the window. When i got my food they gave no sauces, napkins or a straw. I was close to just driving off but im a patient person, so I went back around the drive through since nobody else was there.(I can see why) nobody responded at the speaker so i went right to the window and they gave me the sauces and napkins no problem. When i got to eating.. there was a glove inside my sandwich. That's right. A plastic glove that I had to pull it out of my mouth. I wish i had a picture but i was too nauseous to take one. I'm not going to type out the whole story but I was unable to get a refund as well which is beyond frustrating. I haven't had a burger since, and am not sure I can stomach one ever again after that. I dont leave reviews easily, but you can see why I would...
