When I moved to Hixson a little over a year ago, this was by far the best Zaxby's I had ever frequented. Sadly that has changed in the last four months. I spent over a decade working in the QSR industry and I have managed at every level of the business; because of this I very rarely complain. However, I'm breaking my general policy of silence regarding this location.

Four times now, in relatively close succession, I have been to this Zaxby's location, either alone or with my wife, and have received food that was sub-par to put it mildly. From chicken that was cold, to fries that were undercooked, to chicken that still had pink in it. I've always been polite and the management has always made it right. But there was a trend that was becoming apparent.

Today I stopped in the Drive Thru to pick up a five-piece chicken fingers plate. When I was handed the box at the Drive Thru, I thought it felt light, but I needed to be on my way, so I didn't check it then and there—that's my fault. When I got home, I discovered food that was barely above room temperature (it had to be microwaved for thirty-five seconds just to make it edible), and what's worse, there were only two chicken fingers to be found!

I'm frustrated over food quality that seems to be consistently trending downward, though that's something I could simply chalk up to time of day or a new employee. I'm livid with the fact that the employees (which are a reflection of management and ownership) can't manage to count correctly. I've already called the restaurant to inform them of the issue, but I won't be going back—not even to get a refund. I'm sure they'd find a way to **...

UPDATE: Four week later and I am still waiting for them to call me back... Interesting how they will say anything to get you to leave their store when they owe you money.

On April 17th I was charged twice for my order due to an app issue and they still prompted me to enter the store and order in person, continuously reassuring me that the charges on my card for the previous two orders would not go through. So after two failed orders and one order in person, I was repeatedly assured that my $24.02 would be returned to me. It was not. About 2 weeks later I returned to the store and who I presume was a manager was condescending to me acting like I did not know how to check my own bank statement, repeatedly telling me that the pending charges would drop. I had told her several times at the charges were not pending and to have posted to my account but she continued to tell me that my pending charges would drop. Eventually, she implied I should file a dispute with the bank if I wanted the money back. She also told me that she would look into it and that she would follow up with me after taking my name number and email address. She stated that she did not have the ability to grant refunds, however the email correspondence I received stated that the stores are required to issue refunds, not the online service. I have not heard back from this store since. This company took $24.02 from me and will not...

Nov 29th, at 12:56pm, Worst experience at a Zaxby's ever...and I've been to many branches!...someone named Lahsaysh took my order. Instead of GREETING a customer with the usual, "hi, welcome to xyz business, what can I get for you?", all she said was "go ahead with your order"...so I did, and was told that my order that always fluctuates between $7-8 depending on what city and state you are in was going to be $11 something....of course I squawked, and without a word of explanation she said she would fix it....so I finally make it to the window (the line was moving at a 🐌🐌 pace), and was told it would be $7.89...despite repeating my order and clarifying what I wanted multiple times, somehow when I pulled out my food, there was no wimpy sauce on my boneless wings, no extra seasoning for the French fries, and I ended up with a diet coke with ice instead of a sweet tea with no ice...after waiting in line for 15 minutes the first time, I wasn't about to go back for more punishment to try to fix every single item...

I placed a mobile order to be curbside. I parked and let them know I was there. I sat there for 10 minutes. No cars in drive thru. So I went in and told the girl I placed a mobile order for curbside. She was showing no care at all. She said my name and I said yes. She slowly handed my order. I responded with what great curbside service. And thanks for making me late for work. When I started to split the salad between Martha and me, I noticed bad lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and extra hard pieces of breaded chicken ends. I knew the food wasn't fresh. As soon as I got off from work, I went straight to the restaurant to speak with the manager. He apologized, gave me a full refund, and also gave me a card to get a free Cobb Zalad. He made things right, but IDK if the front line got a talken to or proper training. My 1st terrible experience from here out of 4 visits. I will be checking my orders before I leave this store again. Also, I will be doing pickup in the store from now on.

It felt like she had an annoyed attitude that we came in to eat. Not expecting a full conversation but a simple friendly gesture or smile would have made us feel more welcome. We finally ordered and watched our order sit at the window for 5 minutes as she did everything but call out that our food was ready. Went to the restroom to wash my hands and there was absolutely no soap in both dispensers in the women’s restroom. To top it off, we finally got our order and I opened my box and I got the puniest, excuse for a traditional wing. I think for the almost $27 we spent for two entrees, the service and food could’ve been better.
