Love this library and the system as a whole. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. I love how they've read a lot of books and love to have conversations with you at circulation. I also appreciate that you can put things on hold that are at another branch and they will bring it to this location. So much easier than trying to park downtown! The only drawback is I do often have to do the hold transfer- a lot of newer books that aren't top-selling fiction aren't available in the library system- and often times I do have to wait awhile to get a more popular title. Some basic respect and common decency would go a long way for their staff. I arrived at 6:00 to pick up books that were ON HOLD but I was rudely dismissed by the lady locking the door who did not even care to hear what I needed. She just made sure to make it clear that they close at 6:00. She could’ve handled it much more politely, even if she weren’t able to let me in. However, it would’ve taken less than two minutes for me to get those books. But. She turned and walked away from me, so she wouldn’t know what I needed....

Great, little library! Depending on where you live, you may have to pay a yearly membership fee. However, if you have a student in an HCDE school, they get a free membership.
