Market Street Pub — Restaurant in Chehalis

Where to begin? I visited this establishment on the evening of 1/18/18. My husband and I sat down and attempted to order drinks. I asked for a Stella Cidre (a draft beer that I've had here multiple times). The bartender looked at me almost cross eyed and said, "No." I asked, "Are you out?" At this point I'm sort of caught off guard. She just kept telling me, "No". Her response eventually was, "I have a Stella Artois." 'Artois was badly mispronounced. Lol. Again I pointed to their list of beers on tap, and then pointed to the white tap handle on the wall next to the walk-in. She insisted the only cider they carried was called, "Cidre - Cidre." Lmao! What?! Okay.... I responded with, "I guess I'll take one of those..?" She proceeded to pour a Stella Cidre from the white tap handle I had originally tried to point out from the beginning. This woman was WASTED! Seriously, she was the drunkest person in the entire bar. Despite this, we decided to order burgers - no complaints about the food. The cook here is excellent. But our burgers nearly went flying when she came stumbling out from behind the bar and tripped over another patrons chair. Our plates were then slammed down in front of us and she ran away. We noticed she was making frequent trips to the walk-in and was neglecting all of her customers, not just us. Finally she returned to ask if we'd like another round - LONG AFTER our drinks were empty. The place was slow and it was only 7pm. I have no idea if she ever made it through her shift. I'm still blown away by her level of intoxication. Hoping this bartender doesn't stick around for long. Maybe my husband and I will give this place another try. But not for...

We wanted to try out this place for dinner and drinks today. Me and my guy friend sat at the bar the two gals working ignored us completely. Finally one gal came our way but never said hi or be with you in a minute or even looked our way. She just grabbed a glass and yelled across the restaurant "how do you make a trash can" Ive never been completely ignored at any bar or restaurant before. The sad part was there were only a few other people in there so they had no reason to pretend like we didint exist. I felt extremely uncomfortable so We left and went to McFilers. The sign at the door says masks required - not one person in the place had one on, including all the staff. Our waitress was very nice, even though she wasn't wearing a mask. We must have looked like foreigners to anyone in town as it seemed like we were the only ones wearing masks. Maybe the pandemic hasn't come to Chehalis?! The food was subpar at best and my stomach is still upset 6 hours later. Seems like they have a following - the place had lots of people inside during lunch hour who looked like regulars.
