Definitely need management/ customer service training. Went in looking for a Stanton couch costumer service was awesome at first. The female manager I want to say Tara?? helped us design the size, shape and fabric . Order was put in told us 4-6 weeks at most until our couch was finished and delivered. Then the service was a complete joke. 4 weeks comes and we call to get a update Tara(Manager) says your couch is getting close to the top of the list hasn’t been made yet. Okay, no big deal still two weeks left. 5 weeks comes we hear nothing so we give them a call Tara let’s us know she has absolutely no idea what’s going on still hasn’t been made and orders after us have been made and delivered. Kinda of annoying but out of her control. I ask her to email the company to find out what’s going on she assures me she’ll email and contact me following day with an update. A week comes and goes.....no update. So we decide to go in person since 6 weeks has come and gone. Tara helps us once again...we are the told couch hasn’t been made they were informed our fabric was out of stock. So I ask why we hadn’t been updated or informed. Tara doesn’t apologize for lack of communication on her part simply blames the company making the couch and tries to tell me it hasn’t been 6 weeks. I assure you it had been. We get a voice mail a few days later telling us fabric would be in that Friday couch would be done within the week. So we call back next day so set delivery and Tara is now telling us they won’t have the couch for two more weeks then we’d have to wait even longer for them to deliver. By the time we received our couch we were well into over a two month wait. This whole time Tara never reached out to us with updates and never once was professional about the situation she always deflected any issues to the company making the couch. Now onto the couch being delivered it had a broken leg and we were assured by Tara she would order one and have it to us in a timely manner. Life got crazy with holidays and birthdays so here I am two months later calling on our replacement leg. No surprise here Tara has NO IDEA where it is, but she can check Monday and call me back. Furniture world do yourself a favor and get a new manager. Do to her lack of communication I will not be returning and we’ve spend thousands furnishing our house between this chehalis location and your Longview location. PLACE IS HORRIBLE Wow! I went into the store with my husband to purchase furniture. First we are concerned aboutCovid 19 & saw the so called assistant manager Sharity was wearing a mask that was sparkles but was not a true mask. It was just open and not protecting anyone. Sharity showed us the Flexsteel and assured us it was the best on the market and was the strongest. We were told she could work a good discount for us and as soon as we found out they were electric she said she would throw in a battery pack for each piece since my husband was concerned about what to do if we lost electric..... She was friendly and we were happy until it was done. When we realized no battery packs were included we confronted her. She said that she gave us a good deal on the price that she could not do both. My husband and i were disturbed since we were told we would get both! Then after the furniture was delivered we saw there was a white scratch on the inside of the real leather recliner. When I called I spoke to Sunni who explained she was the manager. Even though Sharity said she was. Either way, we did explain to Sunni about the scratch as well as the lies about the battery packs that was promised to us. Sunni asked me to take pictures and email her and asked to explain about the battery packs in the email so she can talk to the owners. She assured me that Sharity would not know about the complaint. So I emailed pictures as well as explained what happen. 3 days later at 9 am Sharity calls to comfront me on speaker saying " I thought you were happy and had a good experience with me". I was beside myself that she would call to confront me & argue. I tolf her we were upset about the battery packs that we were told would be included. Then it was silent and the phone disconnected. Then all of a sudden she calls back several times!!! What the hell????? How can you harrass someone because they are not happy about the lies they were told & how can the owners allow their employees to confront or harrass customer. Wow what a big mistake I made buying from that place. With all that upsetting drama and lies...... Now I worry that I was lied to about the furniture as well..... Great no returns???? Read moreWe purchased a dinning room table with 6 chairs and a large round loveseat about 11 months ago. On delivery of the table, I noticed that it was wobbling around and asked the movers to tighten the joints. After about 2 weeks one of the chairs fell apart. I brought the defective chair to the attention of the person who sold us the set and she asked us to try putting it back together. Only about a week later the chair fell apart again so I brought it back to the store and told them that we would need a replacement. She told us that a replacement would be on the way. After about another two weeks with 5 out of 6 chairs I stopped in and asked for a loaner chair because there are 6 people in the house. They were happy to give a loaner chair and that would have at least filled our need but after getting that chair home I found that it was also broken. We tried to make due with the loaner but it was broken in a way that could pinch the skin so I went back and got a second loaner. Now about another 8 weeks go by while I'm checking in on the status of the new chair and while speaking with another person he mentions that he can order a new chair for us. I mention that it was ordered around 2 1/2 months before that and we still haven't received it and he says that he doesn't see any order made for us. WHAT!!! I've been waiting all this time for a replacement chair that was never ordered!!! I told them that I want to return everything because we never got what we paid for. They assured me that they would have it there within a couple of days so I agreed partly because there is no way I could fit the table in my pickup. I would have to rent a u-haul or completely disassembled it. The replacement chair was there in 2 days and finally we had what we paid for nearly 3 month later. So... now that we've had the set for 11 months I have had to do several repairs to the chairs and a small piece on the bottom of the table fell off. All repairable stuff but I shouldn't have to. Everything I've found is the result of just not assembling the furniture right in the first place. We live in a small community where I see these people and the family that relies on them around town so I try not to be difficult but they shouldn't do this to people.
