Had dinner today. Asked for vegetarian dumplings and when I was placing my main order, told the waitress to make sure there is no meat/seafood. I ate the first dumpling smothered in soy sauce, the second one I dipped it lightly, took a bite and looked into it and noticed it didn't look like vegetables inside. I spit it out and when the waitress came to give my friends plate, I said this looks like its meat. She came back and confirmed that it was meat and she did put for vege but there was a mix up. She apologized and asked if I wanted another one, I said no I think I am going to leave. I am a pure vegetarian and it killed my appetite. She did't hear me out right and went on to bring my dinner. At that point I didn't want the food to go to waste so decided to just eat it. She came by and said I will take the dumplings off the bill and give a 10% discount. For one, you shouldn't be charging me for bringing the wrong plate, so that was a no brainer, but I told her she's going to have to do something more than 10%. If I was on a diet and was avoiding meat, I wouldn't be so bothered, but being a pure vegetarian, I wasn't thrilled that I ate meat. The manager came and apologized and said the waitress got the plate mixed up, and that she will look at the bill and see what she can do. She gave a more reasonable % off the bill and came by with a free portion of fresh vege dumplings. I politely refused it because I just didn't have the appetite for it, and paid the bill and left. I hope in the future they put vege dishes (esp. ones where from the outside you cannot tell if its veg/non-veg) to be put with a green paper liner so something to differentiate it. I will probably go back there but not any time soon after this incident. Overall the manager took care of me to the best of her abilities so I am happy I got good customer service, just not happy I ended up...
Read moreThis place is horrid and a disappointment to say the least. It’s like if your a returning customer you’re treated worse the next visit. Went on NYE, btw was told if I wasn’t there exactly on time my table would be forfeited. A clear treat and rush to “hurry up and buy” lol. My party arrives ontime and order drinks ,the appetizer sampler and maki to start. The sampler literally comes out in like 60 seconds looking oily and heat lamp burnt. There where about 8 total items on the plate that cost $22 😒. We had the rude waitress return the sampler immediately before she could sit it on the table. While she still vehemently said “Oh, nooo you keep, you keep” “If you send back to kitchen we too busy to do another order”. Ok, flag on the play, this bs sampler came out from under the hot lamp in light speed, but you can’t take a bit of extra time to do sometime right??? The waiter still refuse to bring the menu to reorder and just leaves us sitting. Livid, we ask for the check to pay, remember we did not accept the GROSS sampler. The check comes and the sneaky little waiter still trys to charge me $3 for a substitution for chicken skewers that; mind you, are the same price as Al la carte boneless ribs that came with the sampler we sent BACK to the kitchen and never had 1 bite of???!!! Greedy Trash food Bait and switch. I went home and ordered better Asian food. BUYER BE WARE!! This place is fools gold and this is how they treat there patrons, with unabashed ignorance. Worst service, back and front of the house. I have a photo of the receipt with the bogus charge to my bill, if this location attempts to refute my claim. Do better Feng Shui! I usually don’t care to post but this place is gouging people for hard earned money while they laugh at your...
Read moreI had very bad experience at this restaurant. The servers were instructed from the beginning of the interaction that pork and any food related to pork was not to be served and if any food that has pork or bacon to let us know. Sadly, the food we ordered had pork fat, and ground pork. The waiter could have mentioned it during our interaction that the food we were ordering had ground pork in it. Anyways, we quickly realized due to the taste, and we asked to change. it was changed to another item on the menu. We could not finish our order, and we asked that the food be packed up to go. When we went home, the menu item that was later given was not packed up. We spent about $70 including tips at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was not worth spending that amount of money. The experience was horrible, and so was the quality of food. I would only warn the the future customers that when they go to this restaurant, at least make sure, the food allergy and food groups are properly discussed before an order is given. Make sure that the food is fresh before consuming. I became ill after consuming the food from here. Also, I would also mention that the menu should always mention with all the item with a * mark that a pork products are an ingredient. This would also avoid illness due to food poisoning and badly cooked pork which can cause bad bacterial infection and people who have issues consuming pork products and food allergies. My final resolution would be to get my money back. but I doubt it will be honored but I can at least educate the customers through my review and all those who go there at Feng Shui to be alert and ask questions to the servers for the food ingredient for...
