Bella Isla Express — Restaurant in Chelsea

I am giving a 5 star for now in hopes that my feedback will get to the owner for improvements. everytime i walk i to this store the smell of bleach is overpowering. As much as i appreciate knowing a place is clean it makes me worried that i can smell bleach more than the food. Bleach is toxic and dangerous when mixed with food as it can be ingested. i am not saving the bleach is in the food but it certainly is around it and based on the smell its around it in high quantity. With everyone being environmentally and organically conscious these days the smell of bleach may keep some new customers away. I just bought a big plate of food that looks delicious and now that i am out of that toxic environment i hope to enjoy this food in comfort of my home. i will be back to update my review and let you know...

First it all pinchos are made with chicken thighs most all the time not chicken breast for better juicy taste and I repeating again sorry but this people cooking there are not puerto rican food is bad los pinchos are horrible like make in the microwave alcapurrias feel like make it with flour i never ever eat in a puerto rican restaurant so bad. I need to add this because that are not puerto rican pinchos the meat are not made in a grill and the pinchos flavor are bad and salty and not even the sauce is hand made nobody put so much cheap barbecue sauce on pinchos even the arroz con gandulez no flavor even look pale no seasoning am sorry but is bad like I need to go there to show you how to cook and I try the food online what are you talking about get a new chef and God bless you too i hope you fix...

My order was huge lol of Absolutely delicious food, it tastes very authentic, which is what I was looking for. My kids loved every bit of the dishes I ordered, and I loved it even more. I ordered Alcapurrias, Stuffed potato balls, empanadas, mofongo, white rice, red beans, roast pork, and Passion Fruit smoothies. That smoothie was heavenly omg so delicious. Moreover, the lady who served me was very nice. The restaurant is a small establishment that has a window counter with 6-8 chairs and two medium sized tables that sits 6-8 people if you want to dine in. There are lots of other choices of foods that are already made and plenty of cold drinks. For me it was absolutely worth the drive to this place. I will return in the...
