El Santaneco Restaurant — Restaurant in Chelsea

I came to this restaurant I ordered two tacos de res expecting some good tacos 🌮 but tacos are supposed to be hot or at least warm right? These were COLD i mean like when u get them out of the fridge and they supposed to be juicy but like the flavor was DULL and the tortilla was UNEVENLY warm but the meat was COLD and the sauce looked like more like grasa. I feel bad for writing a review BUT that was just unacceptable !!! I had went in the restaurant with my dad. He ordered a burrito 🌯 and bit on two pieces of bone ....and my pupusas WE'RE COLD AS WELL!!!! I did eat my food cuz I'm not gonna complain infront of people but yeah I just took my pupusas home and heated them up for like a minute and a half and it was hotter than when it was served to me at the restaurant. I will never chose to go back there again.

Also I read the other review of this place and most of them have the same issue as I did. 🥴🐥Like there's something that needs to be done...

I've been to this restaurant not by choice but my business partner apparently likes their food.

I can't say I like the place nor their food.

I once asked for my food to be packaged to go and the waitress refused to give "el curtido y la salsa" I was a little upset because the dish I ordered comes with it.

2nd time I was there, the tomato sauce had gone bad and the waitress could not provide fresh sauce - I guess the whole pot had gone bad. Still, I was charged full price and NO apology for their horrible customer service.

I guess there will NOT be a 3rd time for me there.

And please - decorate the place a little better!! Hire a decorator!!! The place...

After eating at the El Salvadoran restaurant I had botulism and black, excessive, explosive diarrhea six or seven times outside at night when I was walking my dog. The board of health should close this place immediately. Do not go there. I ordered vegetarian beans and rice into which the malfeasant cook poured chicken and other filthy, redolent, rank grease.
