I ordered a wrap off their specials menu, I think is was called Alan's Chicken or something. It was supposed to have sautรฉed mushrooms. They brought me a sweet and sour chicken wrap. It was OK, pretty small though. I told the waitress and she said they'd make the correct one but we'd already waited a while for food, so I told her I didn't want to wait for them to remake it. They still charged me full price though. I dont think I've ever been charged before in a restaurant when they brought me the wrong food. Plus I dont know if they ran out of fries, but the portion on my plate was what you'd expect in a happy meal, it was just like the tiny cut ends, there were maybe 3 full sized fries.. Also, I asked if they could put Alfredo sauce on my daughter's kids spaghetti instead of marinara. They did, but they charged me $3.00. It was already $6 for a pretty small portion of pasta that doesn't come with anything else (side/drink) so now I'm at $9 for a kids meal and my kid is still hungry afterwards. I don't mind paying but the waitress should have told me it was $3 extra and I'd have just ordered my daughter the adult Alfredo entree for $11. The wife had the blackened salmon sandwich which was very good, she wanted sweet potato fries which they have and she got a full plate of them which was great, but again there was an undisclosed upcharge of $2-3 dollars. The waitress was nice, but when you spend over $50 for 2 small bowls of pasta and 2 sandwiches and you get the wrong food and 3 out of 4 of you leave hungry, its not a...

Cleary's Pub is one of our favorite local restaurants. Their menu has great variety and the entrees never disappoint. In person the service was always good. We wanted to support them during Covid and they have been our main source for carryout. However, their desserts have been totally hit or miss. We really like the idea of getting a complete meal, including a dessert to top it off, but this area of the kitchen seems to really lack quality control. The first time I ordered bread pudding and it was completely burnt black I thought it was a fluke; when it happened a second time I emailed them with feedback and the owner generously mailed me a gift card. He said he would talk with the kitchen and subsequent bread pudding orders were improved. However, last night they were out of the pudding and my husband recommended the apple dumpling which he had enjoyed previously. We both ended up with truly disgusting servings of raw dough and uncooked apple, there seemed to be no effort to cook the dumpling at all. When we return to indoor dining the server could of course eyeball a plate and would presumably notice the glob of dough (and if not we would have sent it back), but for carry out it's been really disappointing to pay for and look forward to a special treat and repeatedly get something that was legitimately inedible. I'm glad they are busy and doing a good business, and I'm sorry to call them out publicly, but they really need to take more time making sure their desserts are up to par with the rest...

We have been to Clearyโ€™s Pub several times and have really enjoyed the food. The fish and chips is normally served hot and delicious. The burgers are great. Today, it wasnโ€™t good. We have no idea what the cook thought he was doing with the French fries. He cut the potatoes so thin that they were curling up. They were overcooked and translucent. The whole potato was ruined. Not one part of the โ€œFrench friesโ€ were soft. Every piece of potato was bad. We asked the waitress why he made them like that, and she said thatโ€™s how itโ€™s been the last year. We have eaten there the last 3 months at least 5 times, and never had such bad fries. They normally look like fries and taste good. The fish was awful too. It wasnโ€™t the traditional thick, white fish that the cook made in the past. It was extremely thin barely any fish, just a whole bunch of bad tasting oversalted batter strips. Why ruin a good thing? The hamburger was okay. My son asked for medium well and it still had some pink. The waitress took forever bringing over the check, and then we had to wait so long for the change. She finally comes back, and yells out is there anything else I can do for you? Like she really was so helpful. It wasnโ€™t a good meal. We wonโ€™t be back again. Itโ€™s not worth $56 for some Pepsi and 2...

This pub was cute. It was fairly busy as it was Friday night. It was a seat yourself which in my opinion was the start of the service downfall. We found a clean table located next to the live music and we waited. No one came over to us for many minutes, we pulled the menu up on our phones as we attempted to wave down a waitress. Someone came over and said I guess I can take the table. We ordered immediately. The food was pretty good. They were out of a lot of things... No corn dog or pizza dough for the kids meal. No Pepsi or Mt Dew. We never saw our waitress again. Another lady cleared our empty plates and we asked her for the bill. We waited to pay with a card but never saw anyone again so we left cash and left. The pub was cute overall- live music was good and food was solid pub food. It won't be our first choice to return to but we would go back.

Great food, great service! Thanks Savannah H! Our table ordered and thoroughly enjoyed: Fish & Chips - delicious! Well battered and crispy! Dan's Garage - good corned beef and slaw, loved the soft yet grilled ciabatta bun. The Original Burger - cooked a perfect medium rare, he didn't complain about the seasoning and the whole thing, so delicious! Avacado BLT - so, so good. Loved the ciabatta bun (see above description). The fried egg was perfect, avacado and tomato were fresh and tasty, loved the spicy mayo. So very yummy! We all loved the thin fries. We chose Cleary's at random after getting our Christmas tree, and I'm so glad we did! We will be back! ๐Ÿ˜Š Pictured is the Avacado BLT.

Neat Irish Pub located in Chelsea. The decor makes you think you are in Ireland, so it definitely enhances the experience. I had the Blacked Salmon wrap with waffle fries. The salmon was done well and had good taste. My wife had Dan's garage sandwich with corn beef and Cole slaw on it. She liked the sandwich overall, thought the cibatta bun overwhelmed it a bit. We also had the spinach artichoke dip which they make in house and have had before, a must have ๐Ÿ™‚. A place you want to stop by at in Chelsea!
