We made reservations a week in advance for my dad’s birthday. We arrive and there is no one to greet us. We wait a bit and see a table that is set for four right by the entrance and think it must be for us because we made a reservation for this time. Me and my sister sit down. Then, the owner comes over and proceeds to be very rude to us, asking why we’re sitting there. We kindly explain it was mistake, we thought they were our seats because we made a reservation. She proceeds to say we did not make a reservation and kicks us out of the table. At this point, my family and especially my dad are upset.
They do accommodate us later but the owner and staff continued their rude behavior. It was clear that the owner decides who she likes and who she doesn’t and treats you accordingly. Also, this place is expensive for the quality. As a Korean Philly native, there is much better Korean BBQ. Take your money elsewhere. Also, the place is not clean or well-kept. We will not be...
Read moreI’ve never had KBBQ before but had heard a lot about it, so I brought my friends here to try it for my birthday. It was really good! The one guy (who I believe is the only one that speaks English) was so nice about explaining everything to us and with recommendations since regrettably none of us spoke any Korean. The other lady who cooked our stuff was awesome too! Had no issues at all with the service or food. Each of the meat options (we got the pork belly and beef brisket) for the barbecue came with so many sides that were also good, and we also got the fried rice at the end, which was cool because they used the ingredients we had left on the grill and added nori. It was great!! We had to split our group of 8 into 4 and 4 (we could have waited an extra 30 min for a big table but decided it didn’t really matter). Each of our tables got portions for 3 people which was plenty enough for all of us! So glad I was able to try this place, and thanks to the staff for giving us a...
Read moreMy husband wanted to have dinner here, since it has been awhile he had his one favorite dish.
We walked in and was seated right away. Plus there was no other customers in there. Anyways, as we were about to sit. I saw and noticed the only two high chairs in the reaturant their seat belts were purposely cut off.
I have a 13 and a half month baby girl. She does not just sit still. She likes to be on the move. So I had asked them if that was all they had? They said yes. I asked is that safe?! Like really? Who does that? Why would anyone keep the chairs like this for any kids safety?! They could not answer my questions and just stared at me like I was crazy talking.
I don’t know about other moms. But I never would take a chance on any one of those chairs that don’t work for any of my kids to sit in. That is very unsafe and really stupid. So to make it OFFICAL I will NEVER be back!!!!! Even if my...
