For a bagel shop, this place fails marvelous. Not only is the staff slow as molasses, they can't make bagels to save their life. If I want food. I need to order it off of tapingo 15 to 20 minutes before I want it, and even then it doesn't always make it to me on time. I order things with no egg, I get egg. Now Im just complaining because I know this place gets busy, but that is no excuse, whoever is managing this place needs to light a fire under their employees to get them to work faster and more effectively. That would help with the fact that all kids working here look like they want to kill themselves. This place is a pathetic use of my tuition dollars and I am sad that this is main place to get quick food. I say if you have the time go to tawakana, otherwise get yourself a cold bagel and a coffee from the university coffee shop inside the market for half the price. I hope someone from EWU sees this one day and...
Read moreAs pretty much everyone has noted, getting your order here will take a while, but that genuinely isn't anyone's fault who works here. Everyone loves Einstein's and goes at the same time, which means of course it's going to take a bit. If you go at times that aren't as popular (like when people are usually in class), you'll be in and out really quick. Or if you use Tapingo, in my experience your order will be done almost exactly at the estimated time, give or take a minute. I really love the iced chai tea and the hot chocolate here (seriously, if you're on campus don't buy hot cocoa anywhere else because it's incomparable. try it with half and half instead of milk. trust me). I also really appreciate that most of the time, when you pick your Tapingo order up, whoever gives it to you actually greets you by name instead of order number and is friendly even...
Read moreI've never tried it before. I have heard amazing things. I wanted to love it but didn't. The woman at the cash register was beyond rude. A coupe of foreign exchange students came in without masks. She yelled so savagely at them and asked them to leave it was sad. Luckily, a student went after them and had extra masks which they happily wore. When it was my turn at the register. I was not greeted or welcomed. She simple stood there and stared after I said hi. I placed my order and tried to have small talk with the not college aged worker. Maybe she was having a bad day? But she didn't say thank you or even talk back. The food. Was sub par at best. It wasn't on a bagel like I expected. The bread was over cooked and so dry and crumbling that it made a mess everywhere. The whole thing was not pleasant for the money. Probably won't try an einstein...
