Off-putting, unsanitary and gross practices!!! Won’t be coming back here again!
Visited dining room for a quick bite (Buffalo Chicken Slider and crinkle fries).
Lobby was fairly empty, only a family of 3 besides myself and the drive through had maybe 2-3 cars.
The manager greeted me and took my order. A female employee looked at me and looked away and uttered “people just need to go through the drive thru” and scoffed. The manager seemed frustrated and said “we make things harder than they need to-can we get that buffalo slider going please”. A woman in the back started making my sandwich and i noticed she had a glove in one hand and none on the other. She proceeded to make my sandwich and then grabbed the chicken piece with her bare hand and rotated it by placing it against her apron. She finished making the sandwich and it was placed in the bag with the fires.
I asked the manager if he can have another one made and let him know what I just saw. He looked upset (not sure if at me or the situation). He went back there and said something to the employee in the back and made it himself, with a glove in each hand.
While he was doing that, the same employee proceeds to make someone else’s sandwich in the same way!
I’m more concerned with the employee using her apron (which looked soiled, despite it being a black apron) as a means to handle food.
It’s one thing (and assumption of clean and sanitized hands) to handle food with your hands, and another to use uniform items to handle food! Gloves certainly are an added precaution but the apron is what was off putting!
Scary to think how unsafe food prep is, and feel bad for those with pick up orders or drive through orders who have no clue how their food is being prepared.
OBTW, the chicken piece used was from next to the french fry tray…and looked dry and old already…the sandwich was placed in a microwave to warm up. I didn’t even finish it…took one bite and sure enough, tough, rubbery and...
Read moreUpon trying to enter the establishment I was met with a locked door and an african american male with glasses who was an employee scrubbing the floor infront of the locked door. Upon checking the website for this location, it stated that the dining room was open on this day friday the 1st of dec, when I arrived it was a different story. After trying to open the door, and could not, the employee didn't even look my direction and kept scrubbing the floor. After knocking on the door multiple times ,the employee finally looked my direction and began yelling through the glass. I am not the best of hearing so after trying to sign that I cannot hear the employee he simply turned his back and waved me away. Now I have mad respect for a working man, especially one who scrubs the floors, but this was just plain disrespectful and should have been handled differently. So after he waved me away, I tried to talk back through the glass to tell the man he was doing an excellent job and giving his 110%, he simply waved me off again. Upon returning to my car i backed out of my parking spot to find that the man was laughing at me through the glass window and waiving me goodbye in a very mocking manner. I waved back confusedly and quickly left the establishment. Now I don't have anything against a working man but this was just distasteful and again should have been handled with respect and professionalism ,where in turn I received nothing but disrespect. This location has lost a customer due to a very simple mishap. I hope this establishment will handle these situations differently...

I got an email from this location regarding my review and it left a link to leave a review for management, but the link did not work. I clicked on it and the website tossed up an "Error" and a blank screen. So, you may want to fix that issue if you honestly want further info from customers, per your request.
Edit: (I also ordered the mozzarella cheese sticks and crinkle cut fries, which were tasty. I gave the review a 3 star rating due to those food items, but NOT for the classic roast beef sandwich. Plus, the lady at the window was nice and hollered at me when she forgot to hand me the water bottle that came with my meal.) I stopped to grab some lunch today from Arby's, but it had been at least a year since I'd last eaten there. I ordered the classic roast beef sandwich, which is known for their super thin sliced roast beef piled high on a bun. Not anymore. I don't know what they're thinking, but the sandwich had actual hunks of thick sliced roast beef, plus there were actual chunks of roast beef on it as well. This is NOT the Arby's classic roast beef sandwich I grew up eating. It was so disappointing because that's what Arby's was known for and people loved it. I will not return because it altered the sandwich so much, it's just not the same or worth the effort now....
