Hardee's — Restaurant in Chesapeake

Poorly managed. I visited this past weekend and the floors were dirty at 6:45 in the morning. Clearly they hadn't been cleaned the previous evening. Also, my food was served cold. How, this early in the morning??? I was served by the lady that manages the restaurant and she doesn't seem to care. On a separate visit I watched her quiz\test an employee at the front counter while the line backed up and another employee tried to manage the drive-thru and front counter at the same time. This business, like so many others, seems to think they're doing you a favor. Customer service is a misunderstood concept. However, there are a couple of employees that provide good service. I paid nearly $10 for cold food that I wound up throwing in the trash. I'm going to stop visiting this location for a few months in hopes that they can get it together, which is a shame because it's right around the corner...

I honestly think this is the first time I gave any restaurant a one star review. I would have gave it a zero, but you can’t, and there was some good.

The Good: The employees were super friendly.

The not so good: The burger was atrocious, horrible, nasty.

We were visiting my daughter and wanted a quick bite to eat that was close by. My wife hasn’t had a burger in a while and we had a choice between Five Guys and Hardee’s with Hardee’s being the closest. She suggested Hardee’s because they had good burgers and it was closer. Well, the burger wasn’t so good. This is the first time in my life that I have had a hamburger that had such an odd taste that can only be described as a cross between fish and a chemical. It also didn’t sit well on my stomach. I’ll spare you the details on that. Hopefully this was just a bad day for them, but I’ll never go...

I have been here a few times and they decided they can't swipe my card for payment the chip is going bad but the bar code is fine and they are not competent enough at there jobs to swipe the card I was spoken over the entire time I tried to order then they refused to give me the order because they don't know how to swipe the card even after I told them several times what the problem was instead of listening to me they argued there machine doesn't swipe it has all the features but they won't do it. This was a 🤥 lie. I had to go get cash. They did the same things again this morning and when my husband went back they made him wait through the line again. I'm not going to go back several times I've been and they never learned how to run the payment process and are really hateful with you about it. My card works every where else but there store including...
