Worst McDonalds in general area that you can visit.
I actually took the time to complain to the franchise office to wit, this franchise does not have to adhere to corporate standards in that any problem you have will not be resolved. The nice (said loosely) receptionist will take your information. And then nothing is done as a follow-up. I went there yesterday. (12/26/2018), Ordered a large fry, 20 piece nugget and a “signature” sandwich: the bacon smokehouse, and found this as a result:
I actually had to sit and wait on this “signature” burger, (to be made I was told) and when received, the burger itself was smaller than normal, cold; the cheese not melted (close, but not complete) and the bun old and crumbly, VERY stale. GREAT!! What a waste of time and money.
The fries were not completely cooked, cold and way to little salt. (If any salt I mean)
I called the store, the general manager was at best, incompetent. (She actually left the store after our conversation when I told her to what degree the food was less than acceptable. Guess the truth hurts more than we realize....).
I followed-up the next day (today, 12/27/2018) with “headquarters” to find out no one is there, they are out and busy at the stores... huh??? They go out daily to inspect and the food served is this slop?????!!!!!! Seriously??!! I call BS!!!
The “nice” girl at franchise headquarters is put off at being called a receptionist but is quick to state that she will not tell what her position is...ihmmm. I’m confused at this point. Whatever.. she refused to share the corporate phone number and used the excuse since I said the food was sh*t to end the call.
Ever notice that when people on the loosing end of a conversation will use ANY excuse to end the call??? I have... when you’re right, you’re right. When wrong...well, hang up ASAP on whatever reason).
Regardless, STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION. BAD FOOD, worse customer service, LAZY “upper management”, they hire remedial management staff, poor food quality.... the list goes on and on. Nothing good to say but there are MANY other fast food shops. This one...
Read moreWould give no stars if I could. I had just gotten out of the hospital and just wanted McDonald’s. I was so hungry. We order at the drive thru with one car in front of us. The screen at the drive thru was not working so we continued to the next window. The lady who took the card was nice and then we got to the 2nd window... what a difference. The man was rude and didn’t tell us our food wasn’t ready yet. Just kept insisting that we go sit in lane 1. As he was saying this he was also having side conversations. We pull into the lane and wait. After about 3 minutes I turn around and look inside to see if the food was coming out. There was one man behind the counter just on his phone texting and another in front of the counter just messing around with the other guy while he was chewing on a cup. All I saw was them messing around and laughing 10 minutes later we finally get our food. The lady who brought it out to the car was nice and apologized for the wait and told us to have a good night. I appreciate her customer service. As we drove home I ate some fries and they were cold. My apple pie was cold and hard and my chicken nuggets were super crunchy. I at least expected warm food for waiting for almost 15 minutes. Sorry but this location is a huge disappointment. Drive a little further to the general booth or courthouse locations in Virginia Beach. Further away but better food and way better customer service. Will not be returning to this...
Read moreThe McDonald's on Greenbrier Parkway in Chesapeake is a pretty standard fast-food experience, earning it a solid three stars. It's a reliable option when you need something quick and familiar, but it doesn't consistently stand out from other locations. On the positive side, the convenience is undeniable. It's right on Greenbrier Parkway, making it an easy stop for a quick bite. The drive-thru is usually efficient enough to get you through fairly quickly, which is key for a McDonald's. You'll find all the classic menu items you expect, from Big Macs to McNuggets, and the prices are, of course, budget-friendly. When the food is hot and fresh, it hits the spot exactly as McDonald's is intended to. However, where it sometimes falls short is in consistency. While some visits are perfectly fine, other times the fries might be lukewarm, or the sandwich assembly a bit haphazard. The service can also be a bit hit-or-miss; sometimes the staff are friendly and attentive, while other times they seem rushed or less engaged. The cleanliness of the dining area, when I've used it, has also varied – sometimes tidy, sometimes less so. It's a perfectly acceptable place to grab a quick, cheap meal, especially if you're on the go and know exactly what you want. Just manage your expectations regarding peak consistency in food quality and service. It gets the job done, but it's not a place that...
