Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Chesapeake

The epitome of what Portsmouth does not need. I placed my order at 4:39PM, the order said that it was out for delivery at 5:39PM. I contacted the pizza hut that we ordered from 3130 Western Branch Blvd Ste A Chesapeake, VA 23321. They said that the orders were going to be 2 hours delayed. This is after 3 hours, his reasoning is due to the webpage malfunction and he and the staff is evidently inept with the ability to make phone calls to those who have placed this order. His reasoning was that he did not have notification that an order was placed and that it was the system that messed up. Mr. Taveon, Identification number 1504866, was incredibly rude. Hung up while I was trying to cancel my order as 5 hours is too long to wait on pizza, especially without contact from the store. This is not the only issue we have had with this store, on another occasion they have left our pizza on the ground, in the rain without ringing our bell, but at that point we were more understanding. A driver just arrived at my door at 7:39PM to state that he hung up right as she was loading our order. He stated that the order was behind 2 other orders, which meant it wasn't going to be ready in any time soon. I maintained decorum, without fowl language and was still greeted with the customer service lesser than a child. All of this could have been met with, "I am sorry ma'am we are behind and the system automatically sends out messages, I will take a look and see where your order is". It is terribly unfortunate that this individual lacked the respect or character to account for the short comings of a business that he is responsible for managing. It is quite a shame that he lacked the ability to treat other individuals with respect as a core value, we as a community should expect more. I have had multiple terrible experiences with this location. Orders always take much longer than what is sent in the confirmation email. The first time my order took almost two hours longer to arrive than was predicted. Every time I try to call the store I get a busy signal. Three times I got through only to be hung up on. Another time my order was late and when I did receive the order it was totally wrong. This, the very last time I order from them, I placed an order at 6pm and received a delivery time of 7:20. The location is only 5 minutes from my house. At 7:40 I was finally able to get through to the store after getting the busy signal several times. I was told that my order had not left the store yet and I would be given a $10 discount. I told them that I would come pick it up. I went to the address on the confirmation email to only find a building under construction. I tried yet again to call to get the address only to get the busy signal again and again. When I got through I was hung up on again. When I finally got through to someone she didn't know the address and it took a good five minutes for her to find it. This Pizza Hut in Churchland is not worth your order. They are consistently out of their menu items, delivery times are hit or miss (anywhere from 40mins to 3hrs), you can never get ahold of them to address anything about your order, and when you do they straight up lie to you when you call out errors in your order (when asked why I was never called about an item that they were out of stock on to see if I wanted to replace it with something else so I could actually FEED EVERYONE AT MY HOUSEHOLD, they lie saying Customer Service tried to call like everyone in this day and age doesn't have their own call history/call log on their cell phones). Pizza Hut has been my go-to for fast and easy pizza, and as an Active Duty Military family, we've had our share of good and bad experiences with them across the country... But this one here in Churchland in the Suffolk, VA area is by far the WORST I've ever had an experience with. I wish they weren't my delivering Pizza Hut, but they are the only option I have in this location.
