Asian Cuisine — Restaurant in Chesapeake

I patronized this place for the first time on 7/10/2020 because of the reviews. I usually don't eat Chinese food from local run of the mill restaurants, but the rest of the family does. So... The food was good. It wasn't spectacular, but good. I have most definitely had bad and worst Chinese food, which is why I stopped eating it. This was good, I didn't feel like I wasted money, all my family really enjoyed it. I ordered a lot of food. They all had masks on! But I have a big problem and a tiny problem... big problem- the older lady taking the orders and money/credit cards would also go in the kitchen and help prepare the food, without washing her hands inbetween. I really didn't appreciate that. To me that is very unhygienic, also they had one ink pen that she would pick up every time and hand to each guest paying with a card, not wiping it down afterwards, (this is the standard I live my personal life by) especially during this time. Small problem- they have spring rolls and egg rolls on the menu, I ordered 6 shrimp egg rolls. They were the same size and wrap texture as a spring roll. Small! So I was very confused! And I would love to see what the spring rolls look like unless they were just get over on me. All is my reasoning for giving...

Oh how I miss the previous owners, John and his wife cooking. The current owner is nice enough but, the food lacks authentic Chinese flavor. I ordered vegetable pancit, beef and broccoli, teriyaki beef, chicken fried rice and, lemon pepper chicken wings The teriyaki beef did not have a traditional teriyaki flavor, came on a stick and was a little tough and chewy. The beef and broccoli was flavorless. The chicken in the chicken fried rice was the best part of this entire order and it was mid. I ordered extra green oinion for which I could count on 1 hand. The vegetable pancit was ok. The lemon pepper chicken wings were the worst. Barely taste lemon, mostly salt other than that flavor severely lacking.

Needless to say I won't be ordering here again. The best part of my experience Dining here was how prompt and courteous the owner was. I hope their business is successful however, as previously stated John and his wife's cooking is sorely...

Worst Chinese food ever I gave them 3 chances cause I have heard good things about this place but 3 strikes and you are out. Customer service is the worst they do not care how you want it cooked they will do it their way only. When I ordered I asked on 3 different occasions please make it extra spicy and all 3 times it was not even as spicy as it should be ordering off the menu. They lie to your face and say yes its extra spicy and they know its not. When you go in its like you are bothering them not interested in building a customer base. I see based on the other BAD google reviews the ownership has changed and apparently so has their customer service and quality. Save your money and go somewhere else if you want good food and service. The place is very dirty and the cook does not wear gloves and he is handling your food with his bare hands NASTY NASTY NASTY...
