Subway — Restaurant in Chesapeake

We had a pleasant lunch at this location on our way back from the Outer Banks. The dining area was spacious and the bathrooms were clean. The bread itself was delicious, making for some excellent subs. They were playing excellent music at a perfect volume level. The staff was particularly friendly - greeted me and my family with a "Hello and welcome to Subway. How are you today?" as soon as we approached the counter. Wanting to only take a short break from our road trip, we decided against cookies or chips, but one of the employees handed my nephew a chocolate chip cookie which was free of charge. 3 people working, one female sitting at dinning table looking at phone, 2 behind counter, me (white customer) walks in starts to order and black worker tells white worker he needs to wait on me, I order (no big deal), next customer (black) walks in, female employee sitting in dining area greets customer with welcome to Subway. Not sure why the disparity on greetings but if shoe were on the other foot you might have a problem. Bottom line, will never patronize your store again and I will pass the word about...

the service here sucks everytime i come. They literally got mad at me for asking about extra pickles on my sandwich. I don’t like how they get attitudes when i ask for them to fix something by adding more because i paid online and my order was printed on the sheet…if i want a little more pickles or lettuce that shouldn’t be a problem. also i didn’t put “extra” in my order on the app because i didn’t want them to put more than i wanted...
