I cant remember a worse service experience. First sign, the guy that took our order didn't know what was on the sandwich. We STOOD waiting for our food for 20+ minutes. I'm pointing out that we were standing because that an obvious sign that we are waiting. I managed fast food restaurants for 6 years and you cant miss that. We had drinks in our hand and waited for food... and no one asked if we were waiting or needed anything. I figured, "Hey, its 8:15pm. Its probably good that we have to wait because that means they are making fresh food. Its not busy (one couple came in and left while we waited) in here so they cant have everything ready. Dont be that annoying guest" But then I notice that no one in the kitchen is assembling anything or cooking. So I go ask and she asks for our number (94) and she asks the kitchen when filet will be ready. He has zero idea why shes asking cause they were obviously not waiting on filet, recalls the number and goes "oh okay". She said, "it will be out in a minute"... um okay? Thanks? It takes two seconds. BUT THEN she asks if that was the only thing we were waiting on. We said yes. The TLC meal. She had no idea what was happening and had to be told three or four times that we wanted was a TLC MEAL while she was holding it in her hand like a hostage. An insane exchange. Who is that manager here?? Where was the leadership?? The level of lethargy and effort the whole time was 0. No one smiled. No one apologized. We recently moved to the area and this was maybe our third or fourth visit? We have found things we like! But I don't want to go back now! If they care so little about their jobs, are they giving the necessary care to the food and the equipment? Lazy goes deep. I'm going back to...
Read moreI’ve visited this location twice now, and both times my order was missing items, which is frustrating enough, but last night’s experience was so bad I felt compelled to write a review. I ordered a meal for my family through the drive-thru, and when I arrived at the window, the employee handing me my drinks clearly wasn’t happy to be there. She handed me just one drink, and when I asked for a drink carrier because I had four, she rolled her eyes and reluctantly put two drinks in the carrier. When I reminded her about the other two, she shut the window without a word. After a few minutes, she finally handed over the remaining drinks, and I had to put them in the carrier myself.
Then, I was told to pull up to the corner to wait for the rest of the meal. After a 20-minute wait, my food finally arrived—only for me to discover it was incomplete. I went inside to the counter to let them know, and the staff looked visibly flustered and frustrated that I was asking for the items I paid for. To top it off, the same employee kept glaring at me while I waited for the missing items.
This was hands down one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a fast food restaurant. Poor service, missing items, and a clear lack of customer care. I won’t...

Out of all the times I’ve been to Zaxby’s, seven separate times (Yes, I've counted) I’ve received the wrong order. That’s not an accident. That’s a pattern of carelessness and poor service. I’ve finally decided I will no longer be a customer of Zaxby’s and I won’t recommend it to family or friends. In fact, I’ll actively discourage it.
My order is extremely simple: a signature sandwich with no sauce and no pickles (due to an allergy), and spicy Zax sauce on the side. Every single time, they get it wrong. And every time the employee reads the order back to me confirming it, only for me to open the bag and find pickles and/or sauce on the sandwich.
I’ve spoken to employees and managers multiple times, but nothing has changed. There’s been zero improvement. It’s baffling how something this basic continues to be messed up.
The food itself? Great when done correctly. But that’s rare. The service? Consistently terrible. A restaurant is only as good as its consistency and Zaxby’s has failed miserably in that department.
Would absolutely NOT...
