Honestly, I'm sure people read reviews and think that they can't trust them because people are just being nasty. But this Dunkin is the one to SKIP. Well...I suppose if all you care about is a drive-thru, I can't complain. But if you are planning on actually sitting in here or meeting a friend: WATCH OUT! I can't tell you how many times you have to actually enter and shout, "HELLO!!" to see if someone will wait on you. The crew seems to be obsessed with not only the drivethru, but the whole area off to the side. When a customer walks in it's as though they're walking into someone's house and disturbing them. I have actually heard screams coming from the bowels of this place. I guess people are horsing around in the back, but when I say screams, I'm not kidding. Also, this place is the home to the fly population of Connecticut. Many flies in various stages of hospice "grace" the windows. One time there was actually a strange bug that one might see in the jungle. While I can't say that the employees are necessarily rude, they certainly aren't going for any award, that's for sure. The real downer about the whole experience is that I don't think anyone really cares. It's almost as though this place isn't real, like you've stepped into some Brigadoon franchise that ceases to exist after you walk out. For those of you who think that Cheshire is some upperclass, spotless town, this place will DEFINITELY help you to balance that philosophy...
Read moreIt's raining extremely hard today and the person taking orders made me wait 2-3 minutes before taking my order. I explained this when she TOLD me to wait. My door was soaked. My arm is soaked. And when I pulled up there were 3 people just standing by the window. I asked for napkins and the woman watched me blot off all the rain water on my door from having my window open and when I asked the person to throw the napkin away she said "I won't do that". And told me to pull up to some garbage thing I would have had to get out of my car for. My door would not have been soaked if the person taking orders would have had even a tiny bit of consideration. I kind of feel like she made me wait longer bc she could. I wasn't trying to hand them a tissue I had blown my nose in, my door was wet because the person taking orders made me wait knowing water was pouring in my vehicle. I asked for the manager who told them to throw it away. Did it really need to be a big deal? No but I'm paying $12 for nuked to death egg bites and a cold brew with barely any ice in it. They can throw out a wet napkin when it's their fault. The worst. If Starbucks is not open I'll go without bc I'm not making that...
Read moreThis Dunkin simply sucks! Always has the 5 years we’ve lived in Cheshire. Orders are consistently wrong. Every time! Today was the last straw because they were simply careless. I ordered a bacon and cheese sandwich with extra bacon. No egg. I receive my order. I was given a bacon egg and cheese. I went inside and overheard a worker say “oh someone is coming back in let’s see.” Then proceeded to ask me what was wrong. I explained what i ordered vs what i received and told them I can’t have eggs. She took the sandwich and they “fixed” it. I checked my sandwich. There was extra bacon but the egg was still on the sandwich. All they did was add on bacon despite me saying I can’t have egg. It’s not like this is the first time they’ve been careless! Save yourself the time and energy. Go to the one without the drive thru in the center of town. Always great and...
