My husband and I decided to stop for breakfast one day three weeks ago and we were amazed with everything. I ordered Eggs Benedict, coffee and an orange juice. My husband ordered pancakes, sausage, coffee and orange juice. We also got a side of bacon. Everything was perfect and delicious! My Eggs Benedict was cooked perfectly and the best I’ve ever had. I am a self proclaimed Eggs Benedict connoisseur and I was extremely impressed. The eggs were poached perfectly…which is very important. The hollandaise sauce was so tasty that I just wanted to jump in and swim in it! And the homefries were amazing! My husband, who is a huge pancake fanatic said the pancakes were by far the best he has ever ate. He said they were fluffy and cooked perfectly through and the bacon was very crispy and the sausage not overcooked. The coffee was fresh and strong, which is how we like it. Since that first day, we have gone back two more times. If you happen to like soup, let me tell you…their soups are wonderful! The waitress was excellent and very friendly. She welcomes everyone with a smile and frequently checks in to see how everything is. The gentleman who cooks also comes out to greet the customers and asks how everyone is doing and is very humbled with every compliment he and the waitress receives. They definitely pride themselves on being the best and they truly are the best! We will definitely be making this a weekly trip. We find ourselves thinking about the food at Peter’s II and can’t wait to go back. We 100% recommend Peter’s II to anyone looking for a small locally owned and operated restaurant for breakfast and lunch. You won’t be...
Read moreThe food here ranges from kind of okay to pretty bad, everything we got with the exception of the pancakes was overcooked. Hash browns were burned and the cook has no idea how to properly cook an egg. You can have scrambled or over easy and if you order over easy the eggs will have a crispy burned edge and your yoke will be over cooked. The service is okay but the waitress we had was rude and could barely understand English. She also reprimanded my 8 and 5 year old for playing with the condiments. My kids will always remember the time that woman said "you no play with the jelly's" and snatched packets of Smuckers out of their hands. Ridiculous. Seems like this place is hanging in by a thread due to a loyal following of retired folks. Inside the atmosphere is dated, plants hanging from the ceiling, pretty gross looking. I'll never go back here and I would laugh in the face of anyone who...
Read moreUPSIDE: We go to Peter’s every other week all year long, usually for breakfast and a never-ending cup of coffee. Small, intimate and very friendly, we’ve eaten all the breakfast items on the menu. Everything as hot and very tasty. Louie is in the kitchen, wife Maria out front welcoming guests and Gail, their waitress always has a smile and quick conversation for everyone. Louie takes a lot of pride in his cooking. Egg salad is made on order so it’s always fresh. Even my ladies group has gone here for lunch and we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ate. DOWNSIDE: cash only though there is an ATM machine on site. No...
