My husband and I were greeted by the owner the very second we walked through the door of this establishment, which meant we were in the perfect place for a meal! I got the potato soup, which was the soup of the day and the little bowl was filled to the top of the bowl, and that was ok, because it was just that much more to enjoy on a good crisp fall day!
Our server, Megan, she actually sat at our table taking our order, which made the experience all that much more enjoyable, she she got to know us a little bit and a nice conversation and she made sure all of the orders that we made were right on the mark! We tipped her well!
My husband had the patty melt and it looked good and I had the mushroom swiss burger, it too was wonderful!
I tend to to watch the customers and their meals to see how their orders are when I come to a new place, and everyone in the restaurant had wonderful portions, everything the other customers had seemed very well and very satisfying and all the people also were friendly to us and each other!
We will be back for sure, much more to try in the near future! If you have passed by and said I will stop in sometime, make it now or the next time you are thinking it, because you won't be disappointed, you will leave very happy...
Read moreA friend and I went there for dinner. They were busy and said there would be a little bit of a wait. I don't mind a wait but there was empty tables. I asked if I we could sit at the empty table. The girls were rude and said no it is for a larger party and it is the owners policy. There were a some other couples that wouldn't have minded sharing the table as we had a conversation near the door. The girls don't know how to solve a problem and would not ask their boss if we could so three couples and us left. I guess they can wait for a larger party. This is sad because I am a regular and will not be going back. I do have a high profile and around the public constantly and get asked frequently about events, places to eat and other questions about things around town. I would no longer recommend them as to the way we were treated in a business that is in the hospitality and service industry and if I recommend a place it is because I have had a good experience there. I don't want to recommend a place that treats it's regulars or new guest this way because that will come back on me. We will find a new place to regularly visit and...
Read moreFood was hot and exactly what I was expecting. The menu has literally any kind of food you'd want, such as gyros, stir fry, tons of breakfast options, Italian pasta, club sandwiches, fried seafood platters, daily specials, and country style food. I ordered the country fried steak, which was phenomenal. My husband ordered breakfast foods: bacon, eggs, hash browns, and french toast. The portions are massive by the way, so expect to have leftovers. This is really great considering the prices are super reasonable. You can expect to pay anywhere from $8-$13 per person, and the coffee is $1.00 a pop. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating, and the whole atmosphere was down to earth. There were lots of older people, which is a bonus as far as atmosphere because it's not rowdy or loud. This is basically your classic, comfy diner with an expanded menu to fit all palates, even including gluten free (breakfast foods) and vegetarian options. If we're ever in the area again, we'll...
