This is your typical Dollar General, but what makes my experience better are the employees. The manager, Anna, always greet you with a smile and a laugh. She makes everyone feel like they've known her for years and is a friend. It doesn't matter how busy she is, she always answers your questions. She makes the trip to this store worth the distance. The rest of the employees are friendly enough, the only thing I will warn you about is this store is always busy. There are lots of loyal customers because it is located in a small town. The only complaint I would have is that they have the employees restocking all day in addition to running registers so you may have to wait at the register for a moment to be checked out. Read moreDespite a few helpful staff (a couple of the senior women who are employed there are just rude & irritated nearly every visit), the last five trips were frustrating wastes of gas as they did not have the only thing I was in search of.
For some reason they have a difficult time having items in stock and therefore I've simply wasted my time and fuel only to be told "...it looks like we're out" or pointing to the empty shelf space and hearing "that's where it would be if we had it."
