Firehouse Subs Forum Center — Restaurant in Chesterfield

My coworker kept trying to get me to eat here, not specifically this location, just firehouse subs. So he offered to buy and go get lunch. 3 of us took him up on it. Worst sandwich I ever got from a sub shop. Bread was horrible. He told me their toaster was not working. I ordered a club on a sub. Supposed to be a hot sub. It was cold meat, cold bread, cold cheese. He told me they're really good toasted. This sandwich was horrible (trash) and other coworkers were just as dissatisfied. I ended up eating the meat off and throwing the bread in the garbage. Meat wasn't great but I was starving. The pickle I got with it looked like someone ate the inside out if it. There's too many good sub shops out there that do it right every time for me to try this...

2 years in a row I ordered two boxes of subs for my daughter’s bday party. 2 years in a row I was assured by a manager they would be ready for pickup right after the store opened. 2 years in a row I showed up well after the store opened and no one there knew what I was talking about and accused me of ordering from a different store. Two years in a row they searched for 10 minutes before finding the order. 2 years in a row I sat there waiting over 30 minutes for them to make the subs and was late for my own daughter’s bday party. 2 years in a row, no one at the location seemed to care they made a mistake and no one offered an immediate apology or explained why they messed it up. 2 years in a row I will not visit this location or any other Firehouse...

We ordered a tuna sandwich and mac and cheese for takeout, and everything was beautifully packed—secure, neat, and very easy to handle, which we really appreciated. The food was fresh and satisfying, and the overall experience was smooth from start to finish.

I also had a quick look inside while picking up the order—the place was clean, quiet, and had a relaxed vibe, which made a good impression.
