I was just in the area to try a nearby Indian restaurant for lunch, decided to browse goodwill afterwards... when on the way out, this shop caught my eye.

I hadn't seen it on Google maps when I had searched for bakeries, so I went in on a whim, and felt like I was transported into a cozy little magic bubble of nostalgia and good smells. Immediately knew this place was going to have good food... I don't know if "locals" know about this place, but it feels like a hidden gem... at least, these kinds of places are a rare treasure to me.

It's not a sit-down café or anything fancy, but it's small but a little mom 'n pop shop with a kind gentleman who helped me with my selection.

I got a jumbo raspberry macaron with a cookie dough filling and a salted caramel chocolate chip cookie square. Both taste indulgent and made with love.

This bakery is about 25 minutes out of my regular area, but I will keep it in...

Delicious food and friendly service! I dropped in on Saturday to inquire about ordering apple tarts for a dinner party I was hosting. The gentleman behind the counter told me one of his bakers would be happy to make them for me. I went home with three delicious bacon and spinach tarts that were incredible. I also went home with Peet’s Vanilla spiced, mix nuts, and they too are delicious. I went back yesterday to pick up my apple tarts, and I got to meet the baker, Diane Wood, who was so sweet and grateful for my order. I am particular, and I must say these tarts were so beautiful and so incredibly delicious! She described how she made them, and I couldn’t wait for dessert at my party so I could try them. I LOVED them and so did everyone at the party! If you haven’t tried Trolley Stop Bakery, please...

I ordered a Coconut Cream Pie for Easter. I picked it up Saturday morning. First off, it was Picture Perfect. Looked like it was right out of a magazine. The Pie was the BEST Coconut Cream Pie I have ever had. From the perfect crust to the luscious filling. Everyone while having dessert raved about the pie and had to know where it was from. (Since I didn't inherit my mom's baking skills) I gladly sharred this wonderful bakery information with everyone at the table. Now I know where to go for Breads, Pies, cookies, pastries, just everything! Need a pick me up? Stop by and get a fresh real buleberry muffin, chocolate croissant, cheese stollen, cookie, pastry, you get the idea!! They can satisfy special requests, so consider this Bakery for anything baked...

My son and I stopped at the Trolley Stop Bakery for the first time a few days before Christmas. I bought a Pecan Nut Roll, a Heavenly Cranberry Bar, and a Decorated Sugar Cookie. The roll and cranberry bars were DELICIOUS!!! I am assuming the cranberry bars are seasonal so I hope they have those every year! The cookie was also delicious but I would have liked the cookie to be a little thinner or the icing thicker (to have a better cookie to icing ratio). I believe Diane helped us that day and she was super sweet and helpful. I will definitely be returning! I just finished listening to your episode on the Meet St. Louis Podcast - which I enjoyed - now I want to try your chocolate chips cookies, macarons, a fruit pie and some quiche!

I hate to say it, but the place just isn't the same since the ladies ran this place and called it The Bakers Hub. I bought some Macarons today that my wife and I couldn't even eat. And we NEVER passed on a Macarons. The Hound Dog cheesecake was pretty bad too, I've never seen a runny cheesecake in all of my life, and this was after a few hours in the fridge. My wife's Chocolate Ganache was pretty bad too. Advice to the staff, taste what your putting on the racks before selling it. We'll be back to give you guys another shot 👍
