If you’re craving true East Coast flavor, look no further than Chomp. I recently had the pleasure of trying their Chicken Pesto Sandwich, and let me tell you—it was an experience worth every bite.
From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and attentive service. They made me feel like more than just a customer, creating a welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for what was about to be a memorable meal.
Now, let’s talk about the Chicken Pesto Sandwich. This masterpiece is everything you could want in a sandwich. The bread was perfectly toasted—crispy on the outside but soft and airy inside, providing the ideal foundation. The chicken was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of seasoning to enhance its natural flavor.
The star of the show, though, was the pesto. It was vibrant, fresh, and packed with bold, herbaceous flavors that transported me straight to a coastal café. The pesto was balanced beautifully with a layer of melted cheese that added a rich, creamy element without overpowering the other ingredients. To top it off, there were just the right accents of fresh greens and ripe tomatoes, adding a touch of brightness to each bite.
What really sets Chomp apart is their commitment to authenticity. Every single bite of that sandwich felt like a taste of the East Coast—bold, fresh, and made with love. It’s not just food; it’s a culinary experience that lingers in your memory long after the meal is over.
Chomp isn’t just a place to eat; it’s a destination for anyone who values high-quality food and excellent service. I can’t recommend them enough, and I’ll definitely be back for more. If you haven’t tried their Chicken Pesto Sandwich yet, you’re missing out on something...
Read moreDid this place switch management or get new owners because the last 4 times I’ve been here… it’s been awful. I stumbled across this gem by pure accident one night and to be honest the food was AMAZING and the people working were super friendly, talkative and genuine. This was months ago. February 27th is the last time I went where I had good food and service. Tonight might be the last straw. Last week, I had the same situation. I ordered the phillie fries tonight and asked for extra GREEN ONIONS. That’s a key detail here. The last order I got when I ordered I couldn’t understand the broken English on the other end of the phone and they couldn’t understand me either. We then remembered oh the original people must be on their honey moon (that’s how often we came in) and everyone is allowed an off day. I placed my order tonight walked in the lady walked up didn’t give me a total, I tapped my card and she walked away, I had to reach over the counter to get my food. No “thanks have a good evening “ or “enjoy your food”. This has been the attitude the last few times we’ve been in and to be honest the prices are a little steep BUT for quality food and exceptional customer service we continued to go. I’ll insert the picture of my philie fires. It’s a basket of damn whole onions. Respectfully if you can’t understand the menu and what people are asking for, this is going to be a reoccurring issue. I’m so...
Read moreIt's our 25th wedding anniversary and so we did a road trip to spend the day on the beach at the dunes. At the end of the day, we were hot, tired, and hungry! We checked out the Rooftop at the dunes, but it was just too hot. I did a quick scroll through the restaurants I had saved while trip planning and remembered saving Chomp! I am SO GLAD we went with them!!! We walked in, and it was cool and smelled amazing! We ordered and said we were eating in. The lady who took our order came out and cleaned ALL the tables for us while we filled our drinks. She brought our food out for us, PIPING hot and very quickly. I turned to my husband and asked if he could go grab me a straw, and she stopped him and got it for us. ❤️ My husband and I used to go to Jerseys in Carmel regularly. (They were on Dinners Drive Ins & Dives for their amazing cheesesteaks.) Chomp could absolutely rival Jersey's in flavor for sure!!! We both got the OG Philly Cheesesteak, and it was frickin AMAZING! The bread was spot on the PERFECT texture. Just strong enough to hold everything, but also just delicate enough to literally melt in your mouth when you bite down. The balance of onion to meat to cheese was perfect. The balance of filing to bread was perfect. And the tots were, you guessed it! Cooked to crispy perfection! Yeah. We will DEFINITELY be coming back here on our next visit to...
