Cheers! In Chesterton — Restaurant in Chesterton

Disappointed with the bartender and kitchen. Our waitress was kind and apologetic. Sending back a drink because the wrong alcohol was used (bartender claimed she did not use the wrong alcohol) and not being offered to make the same drink again with the correct alcohol was disappointing. I was offered to order a new drink, but I wanted the one I ordered just made correctly. Ended up drinking it because they were going to throw it away. Jalapeños poppers (Armadillos eggs) had a piece of toothpick inside of the popper when I bit into it. Waitress said she talked to the kitchen about it. Nothing was done for either of these situations.

A little customer service goes a long way. I won't be back. I hope you enjoy making "rum" drinks that taste like vodka. You didn't care while I was in the establishment (bartender=owner) so I hope you find this review and learn something about it. Yes you were busy, but that doesn't excuse a miss made drink and a piece of wood in my food without any...

Finally, a great place to eat Lake Perch ❤️ I will consider myself slightly picky when it comes to giving a great food review. However, when it comes to a wonderful local place around “The Region“ as we call it , I will gladly give this a five out of five stars for the fabulous Lake Perch Dinner because the portions were amazing, the service was great and the presentation was spot on . For years, me and my family would go to Miller beach or to Flamingos. I live here in town and would rather NOT drive that far for a great perch dinner on a Friday. it is better than both those places.Fish Fridays and lake perch was something I definitely missed so much living in Texas. The atmosphere at Cheers is welcoming, hip , fun and has a great vibe, attracting young and old which I consider myself a mix of both 😂 ...

Cheers (formally known as Chesterton Brewery) was one of the first restaurants our family visited after we moved into the beautiful town of Chesterton. Cheers remains to be one of our favs places, because they go above and beyond. Treat you like your just one of the friends and the food is always exactly how we like it. We had a table top of 7 this weekend and the chef did an amazing job with the food, the staff did awesome serving our table and I was so happy to see many items back on the menu, including the tacos. Love the specialty items, nice touch for sure. I had the cranberry caesar wrap and it was one of the best wraps I ever had. My absolute fav is the jalapeno slaw. Perfect as usual. My friends were out of town and very impressed with Cheers. Keep up the great job Cheers! We will continue...
