Learn moreI thought I had reviewed Anong's before. I've been in Cheyenne about a year and I've been eating here since early on, as the first thing I look for in any new place is great Thai food. I'm spoiled, coming from a town where we have a high south Asian population and phenomenal food. Rarely do I feel great about the Thai anywhere else. Anong's isn't home, but it's darn close. The best part is their lunch buffet. They always have amazing options. It's a small buffet but every item is great. I do with they offered a wide noodle dish (pad kee mao, lad na, pad see ew, etc) but they always have fried rice, curry, veggie dishes, meat dishes, usually a shrimp option, and 3 delicious soups, including tom kha Gai, which they do SO WELL. And at $15 and some change out the door (that's just buffet and water, as of 6/25), you can't get fast food for much less, if even that.
I desperately wish they would offer a dinner version at least one night a week, for an increased price, obviously. If you're reading this, Anong's, PLEASE PLEASE give us a dinner buffet night!! I'd happily pay $25 for that. You're still getting a deal for a multi course AYCE meal, and the ability to try new dishes.
Ordering off menu, I recommend the pad kee mao, the asparagus shrimp, the curries, and the spicy fried rice (but it isn't spicy, so if you actually want it to be, ask to increase the spice level).
They are always sweet and friendly, consistent, and fast.

Read moreWe almost left before ordering because it was a cold day and every time the door opened the cold air chilled us to the bones. We did not anticipate getting our order taken or our food delivered quickly. But we sure are glad we stayed.
Who knew that the best massaman curry our little taste buds have ever had the privilege of savoring would be found in the middle of Wyoming. It was beyond compare. So good my husband ordered another dish to go.
We usually order the same two dishes any Thai place we go. Pad thai and massaman curry. The pad thai was good but it wasn't anything to write home about. The helpings were very generous and so good. Despite having only one server we actually were given our food fairly quickly.
The staff was just the perfect amount of friendly and helpful although clearly they needed more help to attend to the constant stream of people frequenting the place.
Would definitely return. I would have given it two thumbs up but they were too busy shoveling food into my face.
Ps. Bathrooms were small and I doubt someone handicap could maneuver into it. But maybe the other one was better?
Oh and I almost forgot the best part, the massaman curry comes with a slice of avocado. Taste....
Read moreThis local Thai restaurant is always our go-to for comfort food, and it never disappoints! The flavors are consistently incredible, and the hospitality is unmatched. One night, after getting off work later than usual, I was craving Thai food and called to see if my husband and I could come in even though it was 8:30 (and they close at 9). Not only did they say yes, but they welcomed us so warmly that I never felt like we were imposing. I made sure to be respectful and not linger, but their kindness and accommodating nature left a lasting impression.
Their curry is absolutely amazing, and every time I try something new, it’s just as delicious as the last. My only tiny critique is that I wish the rice portions were slightly larger—I could always eat more! But that’s a small note compared to the consistent quality of their food and the exceptional experience they provide. This place is a staple for my husband and me, and we’ll keep coming back!
*ps be patient as they are sometimes slow to get around when they’re busy but they are...
