We came here after visiting the tra museum... Big mistake. We found a random menu since no one was around except half a dozen people standing by the front door also looking confused. After a few minutes someone asked if we would like a table. Yes please. Got seated and asked what we'd like to drink... Note at this point the only drinks we'd seen were the beer on the boards on the wall. Not wanting beer at 2 in the afternoon I asked what non alcoholic beverages they had. With a heavy roll of her eyes and a attitude she said "we have coke and tea?" Like she wasn't sure they even had that. I asked if that was all "oh and water". So we opted for water which got another eye roll and ordered since we knew what we wanted by that point. Note: even though it doesn't say anywhere on the menu, half of it apparently stops serving at noon. So a loaded baked potato skillet which sounds more like a dinner food to me wasn't available. I ordered the wings and chips. She said that also comes with kale salad. My husband ordered a smoke haus burger. He was then asked how he wanted it cooked. He said he wanted it cooked. She then proceeded to to ask "cooked how? Rare, medium rare?" And my husband made a point "no. I want it cooked. A little pink is ok but who eats rare hamburger" so she said medium well then and walked away. Our water came out quickly by another waitress who was very polite and asked if we needed menus or anything and we told her we'd already ordered. Now the wait. We almost walked out because almost a half hour in not a single person even asked if we wanted refills or mentioned our food which eventually did come. The food was gross. My husband's burger was not medium well, or even well done. It was burned and dry and a mess and my wings were cold. But we were hungry so didn't want to wait another half hour for food. The kale salad was disgusting. It was drenched and soggy and tasted like straight vinegar. The kettle chips were interesting... Some were so bland with zero seasoning and others drenched in pepper. The waitress who I didn't even know the name of till we got our bill, finally came back and asked if I wanted a box for my kale salad... Which had barely been touched. In the end it was a waste of over an...
Read moreI recently came here for the first time, not for their highly regarded craft beer, but I instead wanted to try one of their burgers out. I definitely will try one of their craft beers next time I come here since I focused on the food on this visit. With that said, the food gets a five-star rating for sure. The burger tasted amazing, and the fries were good as well. I have absolutely zero complaints about the food. The reason why I didn't give a five-star rating for my overall visit here was, unfortunately, due to the service. Don't get me wrong, the server was friendly and nice, but I felt she was inattentive. The server made a few mistakes on my friend's order, which I felt were mistakes that were made due to not being focused on the job. First, my friend asked for no ice in his drink, and he got ice. But he let the no ice thing go, then he asked for an appetizer with his meal, and he didn't get the appetizer. So when he asked her if she could just add the appetizer toppings on real quick, she took it back, and then when she returned it back to him, it still wasn't correct. Granted, I know these weren't big mistakes, but I just felt her attention was elsewhere. Now let me explain that a bit. So we happened to be seated next to the server's significant other, it appeared. I'm sure that isn't against the rules to have a significant other there when you're working, but I felt it was distracting her a bit. Initially, it took her a bit to come take our order to begin with because she kept going over and sitting with him. And I would notice she would be going over there a lot. It did seem borderline unprofessional, and it may very well could have contributed to her attention being elsewhere, which may have led to her mistakes on my friend's order. However, i would like to reiterate that she was nice, so i dont want that to get lost in my feedback about her. With that said, I hold no grudges and I really liked the food here so I would like to...
Read moreCame here to eat on our way out of Cheyenne based on a recommendation.
First impression was the place looked cool. Food was great but service was off. We told the host 4 times how many people was in our party and they kept saying the wrong number.
We sat down ordered drinks. They came fast. Then asked for recommendations. Got lunch recommendations. Then after we placed our order including their recommendations they told us they’re not serving lunch for 20 more minutes if it’s ok if we wait for the order to be put in.
That was awkward and uncomfortable but we waited it out. Though my daughter ordered off the kids menu , the only menu provided to her and it was breakfast items. So her waffles came out first then she waited 15/20 minutes for our food to come out to eat with us.
Her food said it came with strawberries and whip cream. It took 3 trips to get her order delivered properly.
I will say the food was delicious. It was weird though when we got the check that we were up charged for regular fries with our burger and the bacon for my daughters waffles. The server asked her with her waffles if she wanted bacon or sausage without sharing it was an upcharge. That’s my fault for not reading the menu. Though I do believe when you are offering an item you should tell the guest their is an up-charge for that item.
Then when asked what sides come with the burger she said fries, salad or chips. I chose fries. Then when bill came I saw the fries were an upcharge.
When waters were refilled it was spilled all over the table. Cup should have been removed from table to refill not pour over.
Food was great ! Service was very disorganized though their personalities were good .
The food isn’t good enough to make me want to give them a second chance with the...
