Brews & Bites Riverwalk — Restaurant in Chicago

This is more like a pop up, offering limited drinks and small bites. Good location on the river walk in terms of it being right in front of The Mart. Their tables occupy space that used to be open for anyone to watch Art on The Mart.

Aside from it being overpriced for the type of establishment and experience offered, it is NOT DOG FRIENDLY. The riverwalk is known for being super dog friendly with every single business allowing dogs, having water bowls out, and a lot even offering treats or menu items for dogs. It is an outside patio after all. This pop-up style business doesn’t even have a brick and mortar or actual kitchen but is super anti-dogs. The employees aren’t friendly, they don’t have water bowls out, they added huge no dog signs and even went as far as to fence off the green areas around the area. This could have been a cute, casual place to grab a drink and let the kids fish or just take a break and watch the boats drive by but it’s just a disappointment. As a dog owner and someone who walks the river walk every day I do not recommend this business, especially to anyone who has a furry friend. Walk two blocks further and spend your time and money at tiny tapp or city winery, where the atmosphere, service, food and drinks...

I recently visited this place during my visit to Chicago. It is managed by a very sweet and lovely Ukrainian family. Their lamb burger was simply out of this world. Probably the best I ever had. Besides the delicious food and great hospitality, the positive vibes of the Riverside made my experience amazing. I visited this place twice during my two days stay in chicago. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is visiting chicago and looking for delicious food and drinks with amazing views of the river...

From the moment we met the team they were kind, accommodating and went above and beyond for us. We hosted about 120 people with food, music, open bar and speeches.
