AN AMAZING FIND ! Great views, great tacos, snacks, fruit cups, nachos and THE BEST POPSICKLES or paletas. We love going to the beach there or for a walk around the Planetarium/Aquarium area. It's just south of the planterium near the parking lot on Northerly island. Seriously their popsickles are amaaaazing. They have water based paletas which are really just delicious combinations of blended frozen fruits (not too sweet or watered down like other places, you really get pieces of fruit). I love the mango, strawberry and the kiwi strawberry combo. And then they also have milk based paletas and my husband loves the pistachio, frappaccino/coffee, mango and rice custard. I completely disagree with another reviewer who says the people working there are racist. I must have ordered food/drinks here at least 12 times over the last 6 years. The staff members have always been polite and the food has always been fresh. I've never observed even a hint of racism. I have even met the co owner once or twice and he is always so friendly and helpful. Love this place. My only suggestion to them and any other good food place would be that they start offering hot teas and try to incorporate the latest health trends ito organic produce, avocado oil or butter for cooking etc. And since there are some negative reviews about rude staff the owners should follow up on this with the staff and ask them to be more polite/friendly. But I have never personally experienced...

Got in early for a concert and decided to give them a try. No menus or menu board, so looked it up online. TRIED to order their quesadillas and was bluntly told that they only have tacos right now. Ok no big deal. Some signage to that effect would be nice. Order some chicken and pork tacos (because the menu says they have chicken and pork). Nope. Only have steak. Can We order a side of beans? No. Beans don't come with tacos. Asked for no onions on half of the tacos. More rudeness. Asked for a side of sour cream. Again bluntly told that they don't give sour cream with tacos. Ok but I want to BUY a side of sour cream. It was legitimately the most difficult order I've ever attempted to place only to not get ANYTHING we wanted to start with, and they STILL screwed up the tacos. It wasn't busy. There wasn't a heavy demand. I'd give one star, but the food we did get served WAS good, so it salvaged that up to a 2 star rating. But Holy...

So I want to share my story. My wife and I just wanted to have a hot dog so we went up to the joint. Good gracious we thought ordering two hot dogs would be no problem but fifteen minutes later we got our order. Mind you there was one person in front of us. I was like okay sure no problem. After spending $130 for shedd aquarium I was like whatever. But then my three year olds was like daddy I want a hot dog, and that’s after he ate two scoops of ice cream from the joint before…. Me being a good dad was like okay kiddo I’ll get you a hot dog…. Walk up to the line, no waiting and I’m like can I just have a plain hot dog on a bun…. Sure. That will be six dollars sir. I’m like sure. Was thinking it’s gonna take a minute. Mind you it’s a plain hot dog on a bun. Ten minutes later the thing wasn’t ready. Anyway we left. It’s a story to tell that this great city of chicago is failing in more places than one. The aquarium is...

Stopped by here on a sunny Saturday after visiting the nearby "Hamilton Exhibition". There was a line, but it moved right along. Everyone was really Friendly, even though they were busy. We each got a burrito (chicken and steak) along with a drink and a funnel cake. Oh my. Very tasty. One of the best burritos I have had anywhere. Nice views.nthere is an area to sit, if you don't want to use the park or the beach. Recommended. If you have wheels, I did not observe any accessibility issues.

Went here for lunch. It was a cute spot for a snack. Got a walking taco and a hot dog. Ironically, the hot dog was better. The walking taco was good, but not enough chicken. It was a bag of Doritos, hot cheese, and lettuce. Haha. But, really it was alright. They sell glass bottle Coke which is always a treat on a hot day. I would go back if I happened to be in the area.

We had the steak tacos, chicken burrito and a chicken quesadilla. The tacos were excellent but overpriced for the food you get. Burrito was a great size for the price but the quesadilla was awful! 8.50 for a single tortilla and a spoonful of cheese and chicken. Lemonade was good, might have to give them another chance in the future but sorta a lukewarm experience.
