Noodles and Company — Restaurant in Chicago

It's a noodles and company, not expecting much, and it was adequate. I've ordered pad thai, and some crispy chicken alfredo here before. I do find it very interesting that noodles and company has a "noodles section" which is all your Italian noodle dishes, but then has an "asian noodles" section. As if the default was italian noodles, but didn't he italians get noodles from east asia? Regardless, for consistency's sake I find the labeling a bit odd.

Decor - It's noodles and company. It's typical, and sometimes dirty, sometimes clean. But relative standard for a fast-ish food joint. Food - honestly not a large amount for the prices, and the food seemed to be more salty and sometimes watery than not. However, I never got sick, it never tasted terrible. It just ... was. Service - The people at the front are always kind. And sometimes very happy. They are fantastic. Well done at this location y'all. 5 star service. Prices - as alluded to before - a bit expensive for the small amount that you get (take this w a grain of salt as I usually only come here when I'm hungry and there are few other options, so it's possible that my appetite supercedes the norm anytime I come here).

Good service, average food, average cleanliness, average prices, weird...

I just ordered curbside pickup. It was super quick, which I appreciate!! The employee was very kind as well. However, when I got to the car wash I was headed to next, planning to eat my dinner while my car was being detailed, I found out that not only did they forget the silverware - they entirely ignored the “NO mushrooms” label. Thankfully, I’m not allergic to them, I just hate mushroom, but this is super dangerous. Mushroom is a common allergen and they are allll up in this dish, some chopped very finely, so it’d be very hard to pick out and very easy not to notice the mushrooms in the first couple bites. I’m very glad that this happened to me, not somebody with an allergy, but I hope this location will be more careful going forward - there are people who’d be in anaphylactic shock right now.

The photo attached is of my meal. I order the pesto cavatappi with parmesan chicken, no mushrooms. In the background, you can see the “NO mushroom” on the receipt, while you can clearly see mushrooms in the bowl. You can also see the coffee stirrers I’m using as impromptu chopsticks, next to the note that says...

Worst customer service ever. I am an Uber Eats driver and every single time I pick up from this location the employees are slow to get any of the orders packed up and ignores us when picking up. The tall Caucasian guy with glasses is the worst. The last time I picked up, i gave him the name of the order and he turned around without saying a word and proceeded to pack up an order without telling me that it was my order he just finished packing up. It was finally when this younger woman asked me who I was picking up for that I got my order. He set the order aside without telling me it was ready. So from now on, when I get order from thag location, I will deny them. And I sure hope that guy isnt the manager because it seems like he is and he's doing a...
