The food was delicious! they were fast and reliable, they followed my food order to a T! I ordered through uber eats. They have great vegan options! the pumpkin smoothie is DELICIOUS, i used oat milk and vanilla plant based protein and it was phenominal. also the wrap is extremely dense (in a good way) packed with flavor and so yummy!! highly suggest substituting quinoa for cauliflower rice- its very tasty. however one of the reasons i chose this restaurant was because it was listed to have sustainable packaging. the packaging wasnt the most sustainable. minimal yes, sustainable no. my drink was wrapped in cling wrap, i realize this is to prevent spilling but i wonder if there is a better alternative? also i was hoping my bag was paper however my shake and wrap came in two plastic bags. dont get me wrong im extremely happy with the food, and the packaging was more minimal than other places but i wouldnt call it sustainable. i know putting food into someone elses hands is risky so they wrapped the shake and put it in its own bag but still idk..next time i will specifically request less packaging. both plastic bags have recyclable logos on them, however more than 70% of plastic recyclable bags that are put into the recycling dont actually get recycled. that being said i would have perfered to recieve my food in a paper bag. Also hopefully moving forward the company will transition to paper straws. The wrap was wrapped in a second wrapping making it easy to hold and keep it together, I did really appreciate that!! I will be eating here again, I will just be more specific in requesting less packaging.

Super disappointed in my pick up visit today. Had the best bowl yesterday and it was my first time, so I decided to give it another go and had some terrible service from the crew working today. Didn’t acknowledge anyone walking in, there was Uber driver waiting for food already and he said he already had waited 10mins. They were not busy and still took another 10mins to give me my food while the cashier guy kept snacking on food and checking his phone being distracted. Didn’t even apologize for the extra wait, definitely rubbed me the wrong way. They need to work on quickness and efficiency since they like to play around with each other so much, very unprofessional

can you please open up more locations specifically in the Norwood Park area, Norridge Park, Harwood Heights, or the north side of Chicago by Wrigleyville, that would be greatly appreciated thank you. Lol. If you’re going to eat fast food, and you want it to be healthy, this is the place to go.

Obsessed with Protein Bar – Healthy Fast Food Done Right! (Pea allergy? Read this!)

I absolutely love Protein Bar! I’m obsessed with both the Mexicali Bowl and the Chicken Quinoa Pesto Bowl—they’re totally different flavor profiles, but both are equally delicious and satisfying. We always add a side of arugula and kale for an extra boost of veggies, and it makes the meal feel even more fresh and nutritious.

A quick heads-up for those with allergies: the guacamole includes peas as an added source of protein. It’s not an issue for me (I love peas!), and honestly, I think it’s a clever and wholesome twist.

I also highly recommend the Avocado Matcha Shake—so good! Pro tip: if you order through the app, you can get a shake for just $5 when paired with any entrée. And don’t forget to sign up for rewards—you’ll get a birthday shake for only $1!

Protein Bar nails it when it comes to healthy, fast, and flavorful food. Can’t recommend it enough!

My only complaint is the portions are small and its expensive. The biggie bowl picture is $14.49 what makes it a biggie is extra chicken only vs $11.99. It doesn't really say that when you add it on the app the way its written I thought it was more of everything (see picture). Add it is you want double chicken what i really wanted was more veggies. This was my first time ordering the biggie. Regardless...

First time trying the place, ordered off Uber eats. Deliver y was fast, food is fresh. I tried the superfood bowl and a smoothie. Not many options for smoothies, fruit options are bananas, strawberries and blueberries. Thats it. BUT maybe they source seasonally so not too bad. It was actually really good and have the option of whey protein v.s raw vegan. Which i appreciate.

Bowl + Smoothie= about $19 with tax. A little steep for not much food.

The bowl is good, but i killed it quick. I substituted with chicken, taste like tuna? Might be tuna? But its actually really good?

Asked to try their Caesar yogurt dressing instead of the creamy chia and like it alot!. it was a tad bit sweet, but i really really dont like sugar and love salt. So i think most people wouldn't even notice it. Try that dressing for sure!

Overall, if they added a few more options. I would try again. (ex: balsamic and olive oil! common thats a health food salad staple!) But probably not anytime soon because FOR ME im still hungry after a almost a $20 meal :( I recommend customizing, give it a try if you dont have a HUGEE appetite and are a light...
