Nothing Bundt Cakes — Restaurant in Chicago

I will never do business with this bakery again. They made mistakes on my orders. I paid alot of money this month because I had ordered 2 cakes and the cakes were decorated. A supervisor should have checked the cakes before offering to the customer. Also they should work on their script.

For my daughter's graduation, I went to pick up the graduation themed cake I ordered and there was no "welcome" or "how can I help you." The person in the store just waited til I spoke up and when I said what I needed, she shouted out to the backroom, "Can someone bring out an order!" . And no one was courteous when I was leaving with the cake, not one "thank you." The graduation cap decoration on the cake was full of lint which I had to pick out the lint before presenting at the party. How can anyone offer a cake without inspection.?

I thought I would give them another chance. On another order (btw this will be 2 cakes in one month) they misspelled my friend's name on the card. I made this order on-line. I called the store about this and the person said she would have to call me back and she didn't. I called back today and the person said that "it is only at 50 cent card." Again, no inspection done to make sure this expensive cake was satisfactory. This is poor...

I’ve been a loyal customer at Nothing Bundt Cakes for a while, but something has really changed at this location, and not for the better. Last time I visited was yesterday October 26th While the cakes are still good, the overall store experience has declined noticeably. It feels like there’s been a shift in management, and unfortunately, it’s impacting everything from the atmosphere to the service quality.

The customer service reps do their best, but the problem seems to be with the store management and not the customer service reps. I have a background in management myself, and it’s clear that the team isn’t being supported or guided well. The energy in the store feels off, and there’s a lack of attention to detail—like stale popcorn that’s hit-or-miss and, honestly, disappointing at this price point. The floors are consistently dirty and unkempt, which just adds to an overall feeling of neglect. The buntinis gets flipped over in the box even before I drive away resulting in unsatisfying presentation. As well as errors on the cake decorations.

I don’t think I’ll be returning to this location. I really hope management takes this feedback seriously because it’s a shame to see the store...

I never knew about this place until various friends raved about it and it was truly without a doubt delicious. There was a wide selection to choose from and something for everyone I felt. I'm not a crazy cupcake guy but I can see how and why people get hooked. Lol I bought various flavors and took them home to the wife and kids and they went crazy 🤪! They love cupcakes so this was a mega treat for them. I even gave a few to some neighbors and they already have gone to buy some themselves. The down side for me was the price. I understand you get something delicious but I personally felt that $5.50 + tax was a bit pricey for a cupcake but once again I don't know the cupcake market. It's a nice once in a while treat.
