Good but not worth the wait or hassle. I have ordered on the Toast app for pickup multiple times and half the time I don't get a notification (app or text) when my food is ready. This is really irritating because the food takes so long (25-30 minutes) and I don't want to get there too early and have to wait or get there too late and have cold food. Another time after waiting forever, I got home only to see that they gave me someone else's sandwich that was totally different from what I ordered.
Most recently I placed a pickup order on Toast. I went in the restaurant to get it at the estimated time the app gave me, without getting a notification, because multiple times in the past my food has been ready and sitting on the shelf even though I received no text/notification that my food was ready. A smug employee interrupted me while I was looking for my food and said it wouldn't be ready until I got a text. So I foolishly listened to him and stood in the crowded restaurant and waited 5-10 minutes.
Another employee saw me waiting and went to check on the order for me. Surprise, my food was already sitting on the shelf getting cold even though I still hadn't gotten a text/notification. If only the smug, know-it-all employee wouldn't have nagged me out of looking for my food, I could have gotten it when it was still hot and not cold. I'm done with this place. If you're going to nag people about looking for their food before they get a notification, how about you actually send the notifications when the...
Read morePOOR CUSTOMER SERVICE — My friend's food was good however I never got to try mine! The process to place an order is very cumbersome. People scatter in a crowd along the narrow counter with no assigned turns; so people are placing their orders at random and I noticed how other patrons were being skipped over in spite of them being there first.
After about 20 minutes I received my bagel except it was prepared with turkey instead of sausage as I had requested. I explained the mistake and asked they could replace the meat, but verbatim they said: "no, you didn't order sausage you ordered turkey." I would never order turkey because I have simply never liked turkey, ever. They followed up to say: "If you want sausage you'll have to pay for a new bagel" I asked if I could just pay for the meat because I didn't want turkey meat to which they replied: "no, you can give it to a friend who wants to eat it or throw it away"
I will grant them the benefit of the doubt regarding a miscommunication in the initial order however they were extremely rude and condescending to their customers. They were averse to admitting their mistake and unwilling to swap a bagel meat simply because of a server's ego. I do not appreciate their poor customer service. I just want to let future customers know of the poor treatment you'll receive if you ever get a wrong...
Read moreThis restaurant is pretty good. I bought food here for the very first time and probably not the last. The service is fast and friendly. I did not really spend a long time inside the store; I just ordered my food, got it, and left. I ordered a bagel sandwich for takeout since I did not have time to dine in considering the things I had to do on that particular day, and I was really glad that their service was fast and I was able to get food in just a few minutes. When it comes to the food, I just randomly choose from their wide menu selection. I was hoping that it would be really good. Their takeout bagel sandwiches are covered with foil, and when I opened my bagel sandwich, it was kind of a mess. It has a good portion, and everything on the bagel is made properly. However, the cheese on it spread all over the foil, so I had to really hold it properly and take a bite without getting the cheese all over my mouth. Even with that, the bagel sandwich was really good, and it is not really bad because I...
