If you’re a sushi lover looking for a fantastic all-you-can-eat experience without breaking the bank, Sushi Para 2 is an absolute gem. We’ve visited this spot multiple times, and every visit continues to impress us. The quality, service, and value are hard to beat, especially for what you’re getting.
First off, the variety on the all-you-can-eat menu is incredible. You’re not just limited to basic rolls—they offer an impressive selection of specialty rolls, nigiri, sashimi, appetizers, soups, salads, and even desserts. Everything is made fresh to order, and you can truly taste the difference. Our favorites included the Red Dragon Roll, Spicy Tuna Crunch, and the Rainbow Roll, all beautifully plated and packed with flavor.
The fish is consistently fresh, and that’s something I’m always cautious about when it comes to AYCE sushi spots. Here, the texture and taste are always on point. We also tried several pieces of nigiri, and each one was delicately balanced with just the right amount of rice.
The service is prompt and attentive, even when the restaurant is busy (which it often is). Our server was very friendly, patient when we asked questions, and made sure we had everything we needed without rushing us through the experience. They really seem to understand that this isn’t just a meal—it’s something to be enjoyed.
The ambiance is casual and comfortable, great for a date night, family meal, or even a small group celebration. It’s not overly fancy, but it’s clean, welcoming, and nicely decorated with subtle Japanese touches. Parking is easy, and the location is convenient if you’re anywhere in the northwest suburbs.
Also worth mentioning is the value. At around $30 per person for all-you-can-eat, this place delivers serious bang for your buck, especially considering the quality of the food. It’s also great that they’re consistent—the food and service don’t vary from one visit to another.
In short, Sushi Para 2 is one of our go-to spots when we’re craving sushi. Delicious, reliable, and affordable—what more could you ask for? Highly recommend it to anyone in the area or even worth a little drive. Just come hungry and...

Read moreFor all the great reviews, I'm not sure if we were there at a bad time or happened in on a not so great day. Staff was friendly, however not knowledgeable about their offers of substitutions (soy paper instead of nori). They also did not entirely listen when they were informed nori can make one of our diners ill, they substituted soy paper on only one of the several items ordered, the one maki roll, despite us saying ALL items needed the substitute and extra cost was fine. One of our items ordered never made it to the table. Our one maki roll ordered, the avocado was browned in many spots despite it being evident it was recently sliced, the cucumber strips were mushy, and the roll was not well constructed and fell apart immediately. However our nigiri was quite good, some of the slices of fish did get too thick for anyone with textural issues. Gunkan rolls were also decent, though we had to remove much of it due to nori. If we had more time and didn't feel badly about wasting that much food we likely would have brought the errors to staff attention, however once our food was delivered we hardly saw staff so taking action on that was...
