Solid late-night neighborhood spot that has been an operating bar for decades.Well-maintained, well-stocked and clean. Definitely 5 stars for the type of bar that it is.Lots of regulars in the early evening during the week, and seems to attract a younger, college aged crowd late night, especially during the weekends. Gets very crowded on weekends starting around 2am (as the many surrounding bars that only possess the inferior 2/3am license begin to make their last call(s). Suddenly Ravens, with its highly coveted and hard earned 4/5am license, is happening and exclusive- at least so it appears by the long lines that quickly build out their front doors and up the few steps to their street level patio/ beer garden that boasts outdoor seating available until (I believe) 11pm/12 on Saturdays. Very friendly and attentive bartenders are the standard here- and are often quick to engage you or join in simulating conversation, when time permits. Drink prices are typically quite reasonable. All around appears to be a well-run place- if you start visiting enough it eventually becomes clear that the owner/ manager runs his business with a sense of pride that's guided...

Went here with friends to celebrate because normally we love this bar and the staff we usually see! The first bartender we had (don’t know his name but it was a man who said he was from Austin,TX) was amazing. We ordered 3 rounds of drinks from him and when the shift switched we cashed out with him so he’d receive tip. The new bartender was female with darker hair and was awful and VERY aggressive. For my $7 drink I tipped $5 to be nice (I felt bad about the past 3 rounds going to the bartender prior). She then ignored my friends and I when trying to order additional drinks/shots, didn’t come back for 20-30 minutes (there were 3 small groups in the bar so not busy at all), and then proceeded to basically kick us out because “this is a bar” and we weren’t drinking quick enough for her apparently despite her not coming back to us. Definitely questioning on coming back if this bartender is working since she was very rude and aggressive, and this seems to be a common theme in...

I was denied entry by the bartender. He was drunk and rude and wouldn’t look at my government issued temporary license when I tried showing him. I even offered to show him other forms of id with name and picture to prove my age (25) and he wouldn’t even reason with me. He was obnoxious and on a power trip talking over me as soon I walked up to the bar. Went to 6 other bars before in the area and not a single one had a problem with my temporary license. very unprofessional being tipsy and slurring while working and rude to customers who were polite and trying to talk like adults.
