Pre-ordered a clay pot rice to eat in to save time. Got there on time and no seats were available. They had just sat a group at the table right as we got there. Here is the issue, the clay pot rice needs 30 minutes to make and we were on time. Waited for an additional 30 minutes and no table, they kept saying that this table is almost done when they just got their food. the issue was with the younger girl behind the counter having a lot of attitude and kept saying they don't take reservations but that's what we called earlier for. At the end, we had to take an L on dinner and walk away. Didn't want to wait as the clay pot rice is either overcooked or cold. As someone who wants to support bridgeport businesses, this one is hard...
Read moreThis was an accidental find. We jumped off I-90 trying to figure out what to eat before heading back to Indianapolis and as I pulled over, boom there was Yee's to my right. I knew I was at a really good restaurant when I walked in and there's only 5 tables, all full, all round (family style) and all have Chinese families eating and laughing and carrying on. This was a small local spot, not a tourist trap...and I was in heaven.

Read moreBefore this restaurant, this space was always small. So I understand that the seats and space is extremely packed. Otherwise, the food is super authentic and tastes just like my family's cooking. Taishan cuisine is very delicious! Their kohlrabi fried rice tastes similar, cilantro fish soup, etc.
Highly recommend, I appreciate the representation that I can't find in Chinatown.
