Cal Java has delicious coffee ā I like the Vanilla Nut (or a special espresso drink) if Iām getting a cup to go, and my favorites are the Brooke Trout and Decaf Moka Java if Iām buying beans to take home. Naturally, coffee comes first. But I really wanted to give a shout out to Cal Java for how active they are active in the community. They have generously provided coffee for a number of events at my childrenās elementary school, and theyāve partnered with the school on a long-term coffee-sales fundraiser. The employees in the East Avenue shop are always friendly, and Luke (the owner) is often about, greeting the regulars by name.
